Me and my family have grown up eating here and we have always loved this restaurant, the food has always been good. The last few times we went the waitress we had would not stop butting into our conversations and staring at us the entire time eavesdropping!! It was the most bizarre and uncomfortable thing ever and unfortunately we will not be going again because of this.

Place was basically dead for a Friday night, should’ve just left when I walked in and noticed that. Chicken udon tasted like it was barely seasoned, chicken was definitely not fresh, either. One of the servers kept walking around the restaurant with his hands on his hips and periodically staring at me. Wait staff weren’t very attentive. Definitely not coming back here.

My one star is because of the server Justin. The guy is just not funny. He keeps messing with us every time we come in to eat in peace. His jokes aren't funny and his humor is dumb. Food is fantastic. Please come to this place. Justin needs to learn to be professional and stop treating customers like his friends outside of work.

I really love the appetizers here. They have a variety of options for sushi, bento box and other Japanese dishes. I ordered the green vegetables with garlic and vegetable dumplings with a spider roll which were all amazing. I found the spider roll to be overly battered but it was still very good in taste. This is a mom and pop type place with plenty of seating, a sushi bar area and friendly service.

Ate there last night for first time and was blown away at how extensive the menu is and how great the food was. Atmosphere had the vibe of small Japanese diners. Sashimi was outstanding! This will be a go-to restaurant from now on.

This quiet little restaurant has a tight-knit staff that recognize me when I come in. They’re attentive even when the food is taking a while, which is always worth the wait. There’s homely decorations all around, including pictures of NASA astronauts and other personnel.

Great Japanese food and the service is always fantastic! My go-to eating spot when I'm in Clear Lake!

Half a plateful of chopped up zucchini was most of the hibachi meal. Not fully cooked and the beef tasted unseasoned.
