I went here tonight Jan 16th, 2026 around 7:30–7:45 PM after reading several reviews that made me curious. Overall, the food was just okay not terrible, but not anything memorable either.

I ordered the fried catfish sandwich with fries and shrimp fried rice. I’m about 98% sure the fish in the sandwich was not catfish. We eat catfish regularly in my household, and this didn’t taste or look like it. The fries were fine (crinkle), nothing special, they give you a small amount.

The shrimp fried rice was exactly that… shrimp, rice, and some veggies. Very basic and pretty bland. They do provide soy sauce packets, but the brand they use honestly tastes like nothing and didn’t add any flavor at all. That definitely didn’t help.

Would I come back? Only if there were no other options around and I just needed something quick to eat.

Not horrible, just very basic. Hence the 3 stars.

Food is trash!!! We ask for two more pieces of fish despite us knowing we will have to pay extra she bluntly told us our food was already getting prepared. good thing we didn’t for the food is tasteless fish and shrimp is store bought!! To be so high it is disgusting!! No wonder it was empty. All because you can fry doesn’t mean to open up a restaurant they need to be shut down and the texas toast they claim is a regular plain ole toast

The quality and price are fair, and the wait is usually never very long. You should definitely add Tony's into your dining rotation.

First time here and will definitely be back! I got Monday special which is 12 fried shrimp for $10.99 and my husband got a large orange chicken. The food was delicious and the portion was huge. Friendly service with a quiet, chilled environment.

This is a great little place! I was blessed to have a contact nearby and eat lunch here twice. I wish my contact was for all well on this side of the city!!

The shrimp Monday deal is always good plus the fried rice isn't bad either.
