Oh my goths! (L O L!!) I passed by this place before and after work but never dined there...UNTIL TODAY! I had miso soup 🍜 with tofu in a couple of places but this restaurant served it with mushrooms 🍄🟫, I NEVER ENJOYED MUSHROOMS! The way the restaurant prepared their miso soup was so delicious that I savored each spoonful 🥣🥄 before gulping it down. Then came THE DAILY CHEF'S LUNCH SPECIAL, MY DEAR CELESTIALS! Everything tasted and looked outstanding and delectable; it's all about presentation and they excelled it 🍣. Then came their salad 🥗 with this ginger 🫚 pureed dressing with a tang 🍋🟩🍋 (I am assuming this) that complimented well that it left my tongue wagging for more variety of flavors. Last but not least, CHICKEN KATSU and healthy yet small portions of rice 🍚 and cooked vegetables 🥕 , ooh yes 😋. By the way, for a small place in Westheimer Road, this restaurant gets packed a little bit, their meals can be moderately expensive BUT for me it was worth the dine—SATISFIED TILL THE END.

Food was great! We had some sushi, appetizers and Japanese fried rice. Really good!!! Good music, calm atmosphere and the waiter was nice. Bathrooms are clean but may need a bit of remodeling. Overall good experience.

Never ever had an issue here until recently. I decided after a long day at work to stop by this familiar sushi place near my old place of residence. My original bartender (I did sit at the bar) was amazing and I hate that he was blamed for the apparent “owners” fault.
He took my drink order and relayed the message to the “owner” to make because I’m assuming he was unfamiliar with the recipe. She never looked at me, greeted me or anything. She just proceeded to make my passion fruit martini with TAKKA VODKA. Before the person is making your drink, you’re usually asked by that person your preferred alcohol type.
I asked her “is that takka vodka?” And she replied “yes, we usually make our happy hour drinks with Takka.” I looked at my phone and asked her “is it happy hour?” She replies “no.” And proceeds to make my drink..
It’s well after happy hour time and I’m aware of that. So I’m just staring confused.
When I asked to speak to the manager she reappears and proceeds to blame the original server for the mistake. I purposely asked her to not take it off of my tab because I didn’t want him to get penalized for the returned item. She aggressively states she doesn’t have time for any of that and swiped my card for a balance I didn’t approve.
Never going to this establishment again, not because of the quality of the food but the quality of management. And to the server who was disrespected and not treated fairly, Please contact me if you are ever in need of employment.

As I stepped inside, Richard greeted me with charm and enthusiasm. It was lunchtime, and I opted for a delightful peachy lychee gin cocktail, paccompanied by crisp water, offered during weekday lunch hours.
For my main course, I chose the exquisite Hamachi, melt-in-your-mouth fresh and beautifully presented, paired with teriyaki sauce. I also indulged in the Daddy Doo sushi, a vibrant mix of spicy tuna and crab topped with salmon and avocado, finished with miso sauce, garlic chips, cilantro, and a kick of spicy mayo balanced by ponzu. Each bite was a festival of flavors.
The ambiance was serene, ideal for a cozy lunch date or productive meeting. The music was soft enough for conversation, while screens displayed the latest sports events, adding an entertaining touch. Overall, it was a delightful experience, blending great food with an inviting atmosphere.

This place needs more attention OMG! I can say that they’re the best standard sushi restaurants (comparing to those in the same price range). I got the Combo B in the lunch menu. Only $15 but I got the spicy salmon roll (super good) & 5 pieces of nigiri: salmon, tuna, ebi, super white tuna (escolar), and snapper. This combo comes with a bowl of miso soup - the best & qualitied miso soup ever! Not as some places, their miso has a lot seaweed & mushrooms 😍 I also order 3 pieces of nigiri: spicy chopped scallop, yellowtail belly, and flounder. They are all amazing 🥰 If you’re reading this review, this is a sign to go eat asap!!

Service was AMAZING! Took my Grandmother to try, not too busy and an upbeat atmosphere! She and I enjoyed a good evening! Drinks were wonderful the lychee Mule is amazing so good! Sushi was fantastic : ) overall very lovely place, could tell the server i had enjoyed the job which is always great!

We took our daughter to Top Sushi for her 16th birthday and she absolutely loved it. I must say I’m happy we went. My first time there was in Cypress but we live closer to this location now. It’s not Cypress but the service was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Happy 16th Birthday Beautiful! We’re going back soon.
