Scott was awesome. Super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything the whole time. He checked in just the right amount, made sure drinks and food were always taken care of, and kept the vibe fun without being overbearing. Really made the Topgolf experience smooth and enjoyable. Big thanks to Scott — hope to get him again next time.

I’ve been a longtime Topgolf customer and have visited multiple locations across different states, and this was hands-down the worst experience I’ve had.

We went at night and it was freezing. We literally had to beg for the heaters to be turned on. Even then, the heaters on the top floor were useless against the wind. I’ve never had this issue at other Topgolf locations. I ended up going downstairs to buy a hoodie just to stay warm—ridiculously overpriced. Pro tip: bring your own hoodie and don’t expect the heaters to do anything.

The food was mediocre at best and overpriced for what you get. Drinks were hit or miss—some strong, some weak. Nothing consistent.

Our waiter upstairs was fairly impersonal, but I was willing to overlook that until things went sideways. Later in the night, he offered us $60 in coupons if we agreed to move to a lower floor so he could leave early. He said he had a long shift the next day, and I sympathized. We agreed, assuming the $60 would come off our bill that night. I even tipped him an extra $20 because I was trying to be kind.

He specifically asked us not to tell the managers (the people in red shirts) that he was the reason we moved. That should’ve been my first red flag.

Once we moved downstairs and went to pay, we were told we could only use one $15 coupon. Not $60. On top of that, our new waitress downstairs was rude and dismissive. When we asked for a manager, her attitude somehow got worse.

When the manager arrived, we explained everything: the $60 promise, moving floors to help the waiter, being told the kitchen and bar were closed (which turned out to be false), and feeling completely misled. The manager seemed genuinely upset, said she’d have a serious conversation with him, and honestly made it sound like this wasn’t the first time he’d pulled something like this. I appreciate that she took it seriously but appreciation doesn’t pay back the money we were shorted.

We stayed and ordered more food and drinks only because we believed we were getting $60 off. Had we known it was really just $15, we would’ve left immediately.

After the manager stepped in, the downstairs waitress’s attitude magically improved but by then, the damage was done.

This location is disorganized and lacks integrity. The experience is ā€œcute,ā€ but absolutely not worth the drama or being scammed. I’m extremely disappointed, especially as someone who’s supported Topgolf for years. I won’t be returning to this location—and honestly, this experience has seriously tainted my view of Topgolf as a whole.

And oh yeah, I want my $20 tip back.

One of our sons had been asking to go to Topgolf for his birthday for months, and when the day finally arrived, they did not disappoint! We were warmly greeted the moment we walked in, and the manager, Jonathan, took exceptional care of us. We requested a specific bay since we had a little one with us, and he made it happen with no problem at all. Before leaving for the night, he even came back to check on us and make sure we were happy with our experience, which we absolutely were!

Paola was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. We can’t wait to go back! ā›³ļø

My first time at Top Golf was a delightful experience. The golfing was enjoyable, even though I had never picked up a golf club before. It was a mix of hits and misses, but still fun. The food was delicious, and a cold beer was a perfect accompaniment. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future.

I’ve been coming to topgolf for years now and always had good experiences. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars. However, this last visit on a Friday night was hands down the worst leisure experience I’ve had in years. Messed up computer. Broken golf ball dispenser. Having to call multiple people to get assistance. Rude or disappearing staff. Really dissapointed.

Eat before you go! But the golfing is FUN!!!! Dirty /stained napkins and utensils! Server was good. A little slow to return and check-in, but still good. It wasn't too busy mid-day, but for some reason took him a while to check on us.

Topgolf Katy has a nice atmosphere and the golf setup is fun, but the experience overall wasn’t great. The service was very poor — the waiters basically ignored us, didn’t bring silverware or napkins, and acted like they were forced to work and annoyed with us for no reason. The food was very bad, everything tasted frozen and reheated, and the drinks tasted like sugar mixed with water. Fun place to hit golf balls, but the food, drinks, and service really need improvement.

We do a yearly Topgolf family outing with a large group, kids included, and this location handled it beautifully. We were a high-maintenance group, and our server Rahul was calm, patient, and communicative the entire time. Rahul was also so kind to take so many pictures of us as a family which is so incredibly appreciated- memories that will last us a lifetime

The DJ/playlist was TEA ! Mixes were flawless and so upbeat ! I was dancing during our visit

When food took a bit longer, he clearly explained how the kitchen flow works, which I genuinely appreciated. Everything ultimately arrived on time and was tasty, and it did not interfere with our lane time at all.

This is an extremely busy location, especially on weekends, but the staff never felt rushed or frazzled. The manager, Shelby, even stopped by to check in and make sure we were taken care of, which was a classy touch.

I’ll admit I didn’t fully get the appeal the first time I came, but this visit changed that. It’s a fantastic, family-friendly introduction to golf, especially for kids. Not cheap, but worth it for groups, and tip: there’s often a Cash App promo for 20% off up to $20.

Given the volume and chaos they manage daily, the team here deserves real credit.
We’ll be back.

Had a good time but i waited nearly an hour for a grilled chicken sandwich.

Service was mediocre at best, our server was good but everyone else could care less when j told them that i waited a while for food. This was not the Topgolf I remember.

The bartender Trinity, absolutely killer, she was informative, quick, great at multitasking. Best service I’ve received ever. Also her drink recommendation was totally on point. There needs to be more Trinity’s out there.

Service was definitely lacking here. I reserved a bay in advance with my $200 gift card but about an hour or so in, we ran out of golf balls.

Whats the point of taking reservations if you aren’t even prepping for them?

The waitress said we would get the 15+ minutes wasted waiting for a ball refill back, then we got $20 off instead due to the other reservations.

On top of that, I was told my bill was ~$140 or so (wasnt shown a receipt or anything) then I provided my gift card. The waitress returns and says its ā€œinvalidā€ even though it wasnt when they took money off of it for my reservation. After I pulled my phone out to check the balance, she took my card again.. and voila! Now they can see my balance. How convenient. But its not over.

They held us for another 20 minutes because they couldn’t take the bill amount off the card so instead of giving us a good experience and giving us another card with the balance so we can go about our lives, they try to convince us to put MORE money on the card that they are clearly having problems with using, so I dont ā€œloseā€ the remaining balance. How the heck is THAT a solution? Your card problems are an INTERNAL problem, not your customers’ problem!

I ended up leaving the card with at least $40 on it because I was with children and my elderly mother and we were tired… getting told to add more money on the card they clearly are struggling with while we sat there 20+ minutes already like we did something wrong and already had a poor experience with the balls…it was the most insulting experience. To spend hundreds here and get this poor level of service is trash. They wasted my employers money and I will make sure my company no longer purchases gift cards at topgolf since this is what we get.
