Happy Hour was terrific. The bartender that worked that day was so charming, friendly and accommodating. She acknowledged each person that passed the bar and was serving drinks with speed while being the only bartender there. She’s a young black girl with a great smile. I wish I knew her name

The staff was very unhelpful. In the front instead of a cashier they have a kiosk. Only card payments, we waited 20 minutes for our order. Restaurant was clean and food was tasty however was lukewarm at best. Staff seemed more interested in closing.
Slow service and the place is dirty

Had a Democrat, chips and queso and a Love Street beer. All excellent! Service was stupendous as the digital kiosk was out of order.

Torchy’s Tacos on Morningside is a total staple for me when visiting Rice Village. The vibe here is always lively, and the outdoor seating is perfect on a nice day. You absolutely must order the Green Chile Queso to start, it’s hands down the best cheese dip in Houston. The Brushfire is also great if you like spicy jerk chicken. Parking can be tight in this area, but the tacos are well worth the hassle. Fast service and delicious!
