First time coming here I really enjoyed it! Will be my new favorite Salvadorian food! Customer service was great always very attentive if we needed anything refills etc. portions were also very good. Food was very flavorful. They accommodate to your likes for example I did not want any plantains and they switched it to what I wanted instead. Will be returning soon!

Honest review, lady's in the back mean mugged me as soon as i came in and i feel like im disliked for being there. I ordered pupusas and it was nothing but dough and cheese barely any meat. Don't come here if you're looking for good pupusas, you wont find them here .

Honestamente, si quieres probar pupusas buenas, no vengas aqui. Pura masa y queso . Nada de carne.

**BUYER BEWARE** YOU WILL GET CHARGED even if you don’t get your food. They will not refund a cancelled order that was cancelled before they even started cooking.

Tasty El Salvador cuisine. Restaurant is small, but it feels authentic and at home. Food is equally authentic and very good quality while not being expensive. Give this one a try when you’re in the area.

I’ve tried their pupusas and are good, but their service sucks! They always take down orders and have been there multiple times that they don’t know who’s order is who’s. I spoke to owner directly and he hold me he would make sure my order was correct and he would pack it, since I told him this has happened before. Got there and they did not know what I was talking about and I mentioned I spoke to owner and girls mentioned he left. Not going back!

They don't pay attention to your orders when you order takeout, you arrive and they don't have it ready or the employees simply act like they don't know anything and just stare.

You don't know what is behind them in the kitchen they eat and do not clean. Not safe food health follow.

Thank you so much! The food is delicious! The fried mojarra, the corn and chicken tamales and the chicharron and pumpkin pupusas, and even the rice and beans. Surely the best Salvadoran food in the neighborhood and a very good option for anyone craving Latin/Caribbean food.

*Full disclosure: First experience was take-out.
BUT, I say "first", because we will most definitely be back. Mojarra frita was deliciously golden-fried, corn tamal and chicken tamal were delicious and paired well together, pupusas were traditional and the 4-yr old tied an entire pumpkin-cheese one. Even the rice and the beans were yummy. We missed the platano empanadas, but we look forward to trying them next time.

First time trying this place out and it was pleasant.ServiceNo one greets you when you enter and you seat yourself, which kind of typical for small Salvadorean restaurants. Place is clean and has high chairs and booster seats for kids. The ladies were a bit serious and the kind that leave you be once food is at the table. You have to get their attention if you need something.FoodThe food in general is very tasty and reasonably priced for the portions. We ordered corn tamales and asked if they could be fried which they were able to do for us! Sooo good! They didn't come out oily either which was great. We ordered empanadas and they were good as well. The filling in them is different everywhere you go but it was enjoyable. We also ordered bean and cheese pupusas for my kids and they ate it up. They were good in flavor, on the bigger size, not greasy, not stingy on filling, and pretty balanced - as in not more cheese than beans or vice versa. My husband got combo number two and he liked it very much. It was surprisingly a very generous portion and was not able to finish it all. I ordered the chicken soup and a agua fresca. I loved the agua fresca! It was marañon flavor, which is the fruit that cashews grow on. I was disappointed on the soup though. It was very salty and the chicken typically is grilled and not fried. Had I paid attention that it was fried chicken I wouldn't have ordered it and opted for the beef soup.Overall, I would definitely come back again and try out other food items. Their breakfast items are the classic Salvy meals and I would love to come enjoy it one day.

Kid-friendliness: Have high chairs and booster seats
