They made a good barbacoa burrito for ~$8.The highlight for me was their salsa verde, I don't know if it's homemade or store bought, but it brought just the right level of spice.
Love this place! I don't get down to Houston very often (it's a bit of a hike from Canada), but when I do I make sure to get to El Kilos for some tacos (lengua are my favourite)! Staff has always been very friendly and helpful--even when my lack of Spanish has been a bit of a challenge.
Are they under new management? Idk but the tortillas are super fresh ! Texture and taste are on point. I don't remember it like this a year ago. The young girl on the counter super nice and cheery! And their red salsa uff... off the chain. Will be coming back again.
