Menudo was definitely not fresh, soup/broth was very dark in color, meat very dark colored and was chewy and served warm not hot. Chips and salsa were good, salsa was served warm. Lemonade was very good. Staff was prompt and friendly, place was clean and well decorated, looked nice.

Vanessa was a great waitress, food was excellent. We just moved to Houston from San Antonio and this place was probably the best Mexican breakfast we’ve found in our area so far!

I ordered chilaquiles rojos, they were delicious I forgot to ask for sour cream because it’s not included but I still loved them. I also ordered 2 eggs over easy and a side of avocado. Martin was my waiter, I’m so happy his attitude and excellent customer service really made a difference in my experience at La tostada regia. Thank you Martin for your patience and kindness.

He was incredibly kind and attentive to our every need, making sure we had everything without having to ask. Martin made sure our food was prepared perfectly, and the coffee was fresh and absolutely delicious. His warm and professional attitude really enhanced our experience.
