Not many options in walking distance near our hotel so we decided to try Tostada Regia. So glad we did! I had the beef fajitas - just the way I remember them as a child growing up in South Texas. Charro beans were just like my mom made them - so good! My hubby had the Asado de Puerco - said it’s the best he’s had in a very long time. Flan for dessert - YUM!! Definitely worth a visit. Good to know there are several locations in the Houston area.
Finally a more “ healthy” breakfast , had the eggs Benedict, coffee is okay , wish they have Flavor creamers ….tables are very close one to another, but if you are looking for authentic Mexican food for breakfast or lunch this will be a good place for it .
It was Friday night we are trying to eat and talk amongst ourselves and we couldn't hear each other. The music was extremely loud, I asked if it could be lowered and they said no because it was karaoke night so we moved further away but it was still too loud. I will never go back on a Friday night.
