Toyori is an interesting fusion restaurant which serves both Japanese ramen and Taiwanese sizzling steak. While I cannot speak to the Japanese ramen, I say that their signature rib-eye steak was some of the best I've ever had. What made it stand out:1. The sauce - I typically go for the classic black pepper sauce but the combination of the black pepper sauce with the mushroom and tomato sauce was too intriguing to pass up. I was a big fan of the sauce (even though I'm not the biggest fan of tomatoes in general).2. The steak was a perfect medium as ordered. I find that I don't usually pay much attention to how the steaks on these sizzling plates are cooked since they're usually pretty thin but Toyori's steak was not only cooked perfectly but was tasty as well.3. Portion size for the sizzling steak was good; I certainly was not hungry after eating everything.I will also note that the service was fantastic for our party of seven, and their physical menus have large beautiful pictures of the food. All in all, I will definitely be back for the sizzling steak (and maybe the ramen) when I'm back in Houston.

I have been seeing this restaurant for a while but didn't get a chance to visit. The restaurant is quite small so if u have a big party of 8 or more will be hard to find a table. The place was crowded when I was there .Food was good and the portion is big so it can be shareable.Service was good too.

The pictures are from when I visited back in March when they first opened so the menu may have changed since then. Their ramen is phenomenal, so rich, creamy, and filling. I love the to go containers that they offer because it separates the noodles from the broth so they don't get too soggy if you save it for later. Their potato salad and pickled cucumbers are AMAZING and one of my favorite items to get there. When they first opened they were handing them out with every meal, if you request it while ordering they'll still bring some out to you. Overall worth stopping by if you're in the area and want a quick heart meal.Update: I went recently in 01/2024 and took a few pictures of their new menu. Their chili oil dumplings are a MUST try, they're extremely flavorful and generously stuffed.

First time here! Food was pretty good, service was good too but a bit slow as I think they are understaffed, but still a good experience.I got the classic tonkotsu ramen and karaage chicken. They gave me some pickled cucumbers and potato salad as a side which was really good and nice. The tonkotsu broth was surprisingly rich, not too rich and not too salty, but very flavorful! Noodle texture was good and the sides inside like bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and bean sprouts were also good. I enjoyed this ramen! Definitely one of the better ones I have had!The karaage came out crunchy and was moist inside as they used dark meat, this was also pretty good. Portion was quite large for a karaage! The service is pretty good but they are busy, they do not have time to greet everyone right away the front. However they were friendly and fast once they got to me. There is not much space for waiting, so most people stood outside to wait. Interior is modern and clean, and they have sauces, napkins, and utensils on the table which is nice!Good place for ramen!

Food was great! Black Pepper rib eye steak was amazing (with spaghetti noodles)Wife got the spicy ton kotsu and it was delicious (more spicy than the other ramen my friend got)The staff was amazingly attentive, we brought our 10 month old and they were very caring and careful around him. Even brought out a small bowl and utensils for us (without us asking)

Everything was delicious, my favorite was the Spicy Tonkotsu so flavorful and perfectly spiced. I would then say the Signature Spicy Tan Tan is runner up, with the Black Garlic Tonkotsu following shortly behind. I'm big on spice so adding the chili powder to the black garlic ramen made it perfect. The Takoyaki was nice and hot full of flavor, and the chili oil dumplings to me were good but not spicy at all. Overall, nice quiet place, was clean, and our server was very nice. The Yakut at the end of the meal was a really nice touch!

Came here after seeing a bunch of IG videos promoting them. Was really intrigued by the chicken ramen but decided to go with the most popular Ramen dish.It was a chilly day just in time for me to get my ramen fix. Also tried the Bao which was good, and the sizzling steak with the signature sauce. The ramen was fine- but I'm really only satisfied if I can get the level of heat I want. And no amount of their chili sauce/powder was getting me there. Also I think I just prefer a classic Tonkotsu broth. We just managed to beat the afternoon rush- came in with mostly empty tables and saw the list go up on the door shortly after, so before 12.30 is probably the best time.

I'll give this place a solid 3. Came here for ramen and read good things about this place. Service was a bit sloppy, and the two high school looking servers seemed a bit overwhelmed. I ordered ramen and while it was good, I was a bit disappointed. The menus are very nice but have recently undergone some edits with markers covering up certain parts of the menu. I think specifically, this places had "homemade pork chashu" and now the menus have the "homemade" covered by black marker. The soft boiled egg was more hard boiled. The brussel sprouts I had were really good and my favorite mosey of the meal. Overall a meh experience. I returned to the plaza a few weeks later and this place was packed on a Friday night, so maybe I went on an off day. I would be down to try one of their platters.

Try any of the skillet dishes. You won't be disappointed!Must try: EVERYTHING, except the ramen. I got nothing against ramen, I just haven't tried it yet so I'm not gonna recommend it.The servers here are all so cute and helpful. I've been here a few times and the service stays consistent every time . Food always comes out fast.P.s. Don't forget to grab your complimentary yogurt on your way out:)

Had a good dining experience last night. Short wait, delicious appetizers like chili oil dumplings, shrimp tempura, and fried oysters. The sizzling steak plate and ramen were good too. Despite the crowd, the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place!

The $17 steak was the chewiest, toughest steak I’ve ever eaten. It’s also like $2 of food. The hot oil dumplings were good though.Update to 1 star. I can’t eat this steak.

This was a pleasant surprise on a spur of the moment decision. The food is very tasty; exceeded expectations by far. The service was good. The servers appeared harried from the level of business. They give a pitcher of ice water and stainless steel drinking cups. This keeps the water available, and it stays cold longer in the drinking cups.Despite being in a strip mall the parking is difficult. They have easy access with both Bellaire Ave and Corporate Drive parking lot access. It's just the overall parking is at times insufficient for all the business located in the plaza.

Super cute spot for dinner, my son loves ramen! We got the creamy tempura shrimp, Totoro shrimp churn Malay, and classic to lotus. Everything was delicious!! The shrimp tempura was creamy and mmm!! The dumplings were aammazzinngg! Service was great, and the atmosphere was cozy and laid back. Plus there’s tons of little shops, other restaurants, etc all around. A great lunch or date spot.

Went on a Thursday evening. The place was nice and clean. Food came out pretty fast, very tasty. The ika geso breading was on the thicker side needed a little more frying but overall delicious. The chicken karaage is huge! Ramen broth was perfect, toppings blended in well.
