The only reason that I’m giving this place, a four star review is because of the prices. As someone who self proclaims themselves as poor, I would say that these prices are out of my price range. I have only come here once just to try the place and it was amazing and I think my friends family owns this place butI definitely would recommend you to come here and spend your money here especially if you have the money. It is a cute shop surrounded by other shops that are walking distance and if you have nothing else better to do in Houston this is a cute place to check out and understand the culture.Parking: a good number of spots compared with the amount of people who comeKid-friendliness: amazing for kids and family, so fun

Amazing! My new favorite spot for authentic ice cream, Aguas frescas and other treats. I’m in love with their unique flavors. They also have catering! Will be coming back soon

HIDDEN GEM! I have been here twice already and plan to come back again. The ice cream that I loved the most is the chocolate abuelita, fresas con crema and the mazapan. I also purchased a felt souvenir that they had aside from candy and traditional Mexican clothing. Definitely a go-to!

Visited this location, before heading back to Dallas. Very nice little shop with the sweetest lady. They have ice cream, drinks, candies, conchas, and so much more. There’s so many flavors to choose from, and the lady was kind enough to be patient and answer any questions we had.The shops is indeed small. 3-4 people seemed okay. But when more individuals entered, including families, it was very tight. Not really much room to enter, order, and exit. So be mindful of peak hours, if you don’t know what to order or need time/space to think. They accept card and cash (preferably smaller notes like $10/$5/$1s)The customer service was so wonderful and the food was so delicious, we went back inside 3/4 times to order more. Money well spent on quality! The vanilla concha’s were soft and so sweet! Loved the mazapan ice cream(if you love peanut or nutty ice cream, it’s heavenly) and even bought a few candies for the road. The Aguas frescas were so delicious and the horchata too. This is definitely a little shop that feeds every sugar craving! It’s also a gift shop and convenience store for snacks, sodas, and little souvenirs.

This place is a little bit hard to find, but so worth it! It's a couple doors down from the Imperial Bakery. Such a cute place with a lot of handmade novelties and candies from Mexico. The ice cream is delicious and unique - I love that you can get it served in conchas! We will definitely come back next time we are in Houston.

Friendly staff and delicious ice cream/fruit ices. There are also a nice selection of candies, clothing, and gifts as well. This place is truly a treat if you find yourself in the neighborhood and craving something sweet.

Mangonada is very delicious, perfect for a hot day, they have it in small and large size. We got a large, enough to share for two, $8.66. It's a cute tiny little shop, they also have a variety of Mexican candies, ice cream, elote. If you are in the neighborhood (super close to U of H), stop by and grab a snack. There's also a antique shop and bakery next door.

Such a nice shop. The mango/chamoy/lime mangonada was simply amazing - sour, sweet, spicy. It took a bit of time to make, but that explains how good it was, and done with care. Shop owner was so friendly and explained all of the products they carry. Definitely worth repeat visits to try different items.

When I saw the photo of the ice cream I knew I had to try it! Lived up to the pictures. The concha tasted so fresh.I also had the corn and the nieve, both delicious. They sell gorgeous art, hand-picked, and are very knowledgeable about what they collect.
