Absolutely delicious!
We are from Windsor, Ontario. It's our first time in Texas. The first thing I look for when I am traveling is a vegan restaurant. The food was amazing. We had the buffet which had a great variety of food. Every food I tried was delicious. This is one of the best vegan restaurants I've eaten at. The service is great. The servers are great. They interact with the guests. They make you feel at home. If we are ever in Houston again, we will definitely eat here again. I highly recommend this restaurant if anyone is in Houston. Thank you! :)

Very friendly owners! They were patient with explaining the buffet options, which were delicious. Regardless of your taste preferences, there was something for everyone, ranging from no spice to spicy, light and refreshing to rich and hearthy.

We had such a wonderful first experience at Trendy Vegan in Houston! Walking in, we immediately felt welcomed by the relaxed atmosphere and the delicious smells coming from the kitchen. They actually had a buffet going when we visited, which looked amazing, but since it was our first time we decided to order from the menu so we could really savor a few dishes.
We started with the garlic cucumber and the veggie bao, even though the portion was more than satisfying for 2 people, we still had leftover due to us wanting to save room for our main! :) For our entrées, we ordered the tempeh with vegetables and a bento box featuring salt and pepper tofu as the main dish. Everything was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The tempeh was well-prepared with a sauce coating the veg and slices of tempeh. The salt and pepper tofu had the perfect balance of crispiness and spice, my partner was so happy to have the salt and pepper dish “veganized”! The bento was really nice too coming with the cold dan dan noodles, salad, rice and spring roll!
What really stood out to us was how attentive our host was! We thought everyone was lovely and I was happy to see the place had people eating and coming in while we were there :) Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just curious about plant-based food, Trendy Vegan is absolutely worth a visit. We left feeling full, happy, and excited to come back (and maybe try that buffet next time!). Highly recommend! (I didn’t grab a picture of the salt and pepper tofu!)

The food was good, pricing was moderate, we didn't know it was a buffet until we got there but that's okay, you can still order of the regular menu. We opted for the buffet because it seemed to have most of the items on the regular menu. Many items seemed fresh but a couple were, not so fresh. Honestly I think this place would do better to limit the buffet to the busier hours and do menu items during the slower times to keep it all fresh.

What a wonderful experience! I loved the buffet because I was able to try a variety of dishes. And it's all vegan!!! I loved 99% of the items. The only problem is I don't live in the neighborhood. I would go here all the time if I did. Thank you for providing these options in the community.

🤢ordered vegan fried rice and spring rolls, and the food was extremely disappointing. The rice was hard and tasted stale, the vegetables were cold, and the spring rolls didn’t taste fresh. You could hear staff sneezing nearby, which made me seriously question the hygiene in the kitchen. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

So glad they offer a daily buffet! All day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday I believe and then 11 AM to 3 PM on weekdays and then buffet again at dinner. I can’t remember what time. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is very clean, the service is amazing. The food is top quality in my opinion. Absolutely delicious! And everyone in the staff is just so nice and friendly. 谢谢 :)

Food was amazing and tasted like classic Asian dishes even though they were vegan. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the buffet - all the food looked to be fresh and all the plates and silverware didn’t have a spec on them. Price was awesome as well!

Great place to get 100 percent vegan Asian fare for the price. The food was on point - full of flavor. They offer off the menu items or buffet. We opted for the buffet which was fresh and gave us a variety of what was on the menu. The sesame buns were so yummy and always hard to find!
Food is good, not my favorite but still eatable. A few of the items are better than others. Overall It’s not a place I’ll go back to. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-24
We came here for dinner at 7pm and nothing looked old or unfresh. They were regularly replenishing and refreshing dishes. Everything i tried was good, but my favorites were the Veg Dry Pot, fried rice, and hot-sour soup. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would eat here again.
