So glad we were able to try this Houston staple. There was a bit of a wait even though we had reservations; however the hostess and server owned up to the mistake which was very refreshing and responsible. We had the fried catfish, dirty rice, and famous turkey leg and it was all seasoned very well and really good! We will definitely come back the next time we visit.
My family & I visited way from Florida to Houston & HAD to visit Turkey Leg Hut. There was no line. We got in & was seated quickly. We were immediately greeted by Lo-Lauren. She was the BEST server hands down. Her energy, vibe, & service was great! The menu had many options. It was hard to choose but i went with the Alfredo Shrimp Stuffed Turkey Leg. It was delicioussss. It was seasoned perfectly & the meat literally fell off the boneee. The portion was plentiful...
Whew chile! After driving in from Georgia this weekend for a festival I could NOT wait to get to Turkey Leg Hut in Houston! Problem was so did EVERYONE else in the city! Once my party of 7 arrived & had already waited about 1hr enjoying the ambiance & amazing drinks by the time I arrived to join them right before our table was ready we were told they had run out of EVERYTHING!!!!
