We went for a celebratory lunch post-graduation. The graduation went long, but we were able to move our reservation with no issues - Uchiko was very flexible! They also made us feel like it was a special occasion. The food, of course, was amazing. It was all very interesting and delicious, with lots of citrus touches that I really love. The restaurant is beautiful inside, at a great location near the Galleria, with a thoughtful staff. I don't live in Houston so I can't make this a regular eexperience, but it was worth it.

Excellent. Omar took great care of us. Amazing happy hour experience with a quiet schedule that allows service to shine. I always go for early HH schedule not because of the lower prices, although I can take advantage of some items. But if you look at my $500 bill it was about the overall experience. I don't go for dinner or lunch anymore because it becomes a POOR experience when it is crowded. Service drops, restaurant is loud, and sushi bar can't deliver a personalized experience.

Best restaurant experience of my entire life. Quality of food is absolutely unbeatable. I have travelled more than 48 countries and trust me the food here is better than anything Ive tried ever before. Can’t say enough about it, just that it is worth to literally get a flight from OC to Houston only for this absolutely incredible experience and quality food here. Keep up the great quality please. Btw: Sara Habibi was our waitress, she added extra joy to our night. I LOVE UCHIKO for life.

I absolutely loved this place! First time there and Evan was so kind to be our server tonight. He was so helpful that he made all the menu choices for us and omg did every thing that came to our table only exceeded from the previous, it was all so delicious. The presentation and execution of each dish was *chef’s kiss* amazing. We sat on the patio, closer to the doors… would recommend sitting out the outer tables because no fan hits your direction but overall, the food and drinks made up for the experience. Highly recommend! Thank you Evan and team for an amazing top tier experience. 🙏🏽 cant wait to go again! Perhaps for brunch 😉

I’ve been to Uchiko several times now and each time I’m back, I’m blown away by the experience, food, service. It’s hard to top an already amazing experience, yet Uchiko continues to do so.
Because I love Uchiko so much, I have brought both sides of my family to Uchiko for special occasions and it’s so fun being able to see them experience it for the first time too. I highly recommend this place for date night, special occasions, and even as a “just because” casual night to eat good food with a great ambience.
And a special thank you to Evan for being an amazing server! He was our server at Uchiko 2 years ago when we first visited and it was so great having him again tonight.

I had such a good time at Uchiko last night with one of my dear friends who was in town! I am a big Uchi fan overall so I was excited to try Uchiko’s Houston location for the first time. We sat at the bar as they have all night happy hour. Our server/bartender, Devin, was soooooo good. Very helpful and very intuitive about the menu. I have never been disappointed at any Uchi location and now I can add this one to my list of favorites!! Shoutout Devin for his suggestions and his attentiveness. The Shima Aji and the Snow Crab roll were my favs!

I’m still thinking about the maguro nigiri I had there and it’s the next day. Parking was extremely easy since the valet parking is complimentary. The hosts were very warm and welcoming when we came in and seated us quickly for our reservation. Our server Jennie answered all our food related questions and accommodated to our needs.
For the food, there was nothing I didn’t like.
We went for the power lunch ($25) and I selected the Hama chili (group fav), hearth pork belly, and had the sorbet for dessert (interesting flavors and texture!🤤). I also ordered the maguro nigiri (personal favorite), and a roasted oyster.
