Solid food. My go to authentic Chinese take out. Just be mindful of the time because if they say it’s gonna take 20 minutes, it’ll be ready in 40 minutes.

Must try the hot oil splash noodles at least once in your life. This place really is a hidden gem. I don’t know why it’s not more popular.

The food was very disappointing, comparable to fast food, and not worth the price. Beef Lo-Mein had 0 beef in it and everything just tasted very salty. The sesame chicken wasn’t crispy and the sauce didn’t stick.

1st choice should definitely be Xian LiangPi, very authentic. The Chewy Wheat Noodle is ok, kind similar to LiangPi but not as good. Need taste other dishes next time.

Not a Challenge

Chicken & beef is very chewy & lacks flavor... dumpling sauce is soy flavor vinegar which i didn't like & too bland to eat alone... this place has been here for a long time so it's disappointing... Singapore noodle is good but probably better with no meat

Overall, this place has a 1/5 for me. My overall summary is that the owner/cook didn't look passionate in any aspect of what they were doing. Definitely reflected in the food. Wonton soup was VERY peppery like an attack on my pallet. The Cheese puffs were okay, but the sweet sauce that came with is was WAY too sweet like it was melted candy corn. I had the Beef Lo Mein as well and it was VERY oily and too much salt. And lastly the famous thing they are known for, the chili stirred long noodles, were subpar. Well spiced, but no flavor so all I got was just spicy.

This does not look like much from the street - but the food is incredible! There are many options, but we focused on the hand-pulled noodles and they did not disappoint. We split oil splashed noodles and the big platter chicken - but also tried some hot and sour soup and some dumplings. It was all very flavorful and had a good spice level. The portions are large. Prices are very reasonable.

We took an extra order of the oil splashed noodles home and fried them up with some eggs the next morning. This is a dish that reheats well. So good!

I'm not Chinese, but I felt this was highly authentic food. Service was great. We will be back.

The flavors overall are great. But I'm not a huge fan of the noodles. It's too chewy for my liking.

This place slaps! Delicious Northwest Chinese cuisine. Truly don’t understand why it isn’t a 5 stars. You cannot find Xian-style hand pulled noodles in Houston. I usually get the oil splashed noodles and add beef. It’s delicious. Make sure to mix it before you start eating. I’ve also had the roujiamao burger here as well as it is another well-known dish from this part of China. People that work here are super nice. I always strike up a convo here and there trying to convince them to franchise. Wish it was closer to downtown, but it’s kinda one of those iykyk places. Sometimes it’s better like that.

Upon arriving and sitting down was greeted genuinely but as we sat down the chaos came when the guy taking our order drooled and splashed on my colleague shoulder and we were stunned by the action ! Other wise the food portions were good and the food was okay. Overall it’s an okay place could be better.

I got some chili noodles in New York that I loved a lot. This place had the same style noodles that were really good and of the same quality. They’re quite spicy, but they’re really good. I would highly recommend them.
