I see now why this place was totally empty. I went in during my lunch break and spent $18 on an Angus Burger combo. The burger was way too small for the price they charged. The taste wasn't bad but it's not worth it. Bottom line, overpriced food with a low budget quality. Pass this place up if you love a good burger. You'll be disappointed.

Food overpriced. The potatoes looked cooked outside but were raw inside. To me it was just a Burger. The flavor wasn't different thank any other regular hamburger.
One of the best burgers in Houston! The wagyu beef burger is incredible, the fries are great, and the service was top notch. Super friendly staff and delicious food.

I was really excited to try Underbelly Burger, especially knowing it was started by a renowned chef and advertised as serving high-quality meat in a “delicious old school burger.” Unfortunately, I couldn’t disagree more.
I sampled a couple of items from the menu, and everything fell flat. The burgers were bland and dry, the onion rings were mushy, clearly frozen, and undercooked, and the fries (which aren't even included with the already steep $13 burger) were just thick, unseasoned chunks of potato with no crispiness at all.
We paid nearly $50 for two people, left still hungry and thoroughly unsatisfied. It also took nearly 20 minutes to get our food, and ordering was another hassle, as there were only two people ahead of us, but we waited almost 10 minutes due to slow, inefficient service. The staff was friendly, but it didn’t make up for the overall experience. Very disappointing first impression, and I’m not sure I’ll be back.
