Great service from start to finish! The food was delicious, as well. The gumbo was legit, as our very sweet server promised, and the burgers were huge, perfectly cooked, and outstanding. Word to the wise--parking is definitely at a premium, but we broke down and splurged for valet. Highly recommend!

Decided to dine here for brunch around 12 PM. Let’s start with the service… nobody came to greet us after being sat for about 15 minutes. It was maybe 6 other people in the restaurant. Our waiter also kept forgetting things we ordered and never received them. He was nice but for automatic gratuity, wish we were better taken care of.
Let’s move on to the food. Everyone food came out cold. While they had no problem remaking it, we did wait a while to receive the food so for it to come out cold was kinda annoying. Also, I ordered the vegan fried rice and it’s just way too much going on for it be lacking character. Definitely missing some traditional spices. My boyfriend ordered the catfish and grits. He loved the catfish but the grits needed some character as well and a little too runny. Other friend order chicken and waffles and stated the peach butter was the best thing on the plate. Wanted to order drinks but $14 for one mimosa is too pricey for me.

Listen ! I came here Tuesday night ! I came for Latin night to hear the band and get free Bachata lessons! And Jada is absolutely amazing! Shes the bartender working in the bigger room and she handles it very well. She knows all of her customers orders by heart. She makes everyone feel at home! If you want to go to a place for all day, happy hour for you by shot lessons and a bartender who actually acts like she cares come to five Central! I definitely will be back!
