Not the Best, the atmosphere felt muggy and unclean the food was Meh gave me a tummy ache, and I don’t have a sensitive stomach. The water machine didn’t give me confidence to drink from it.

Worst Velvet Taco location I've ever been to. Tacos were all bland and did not seem fresh. We have been to many locations but this one sucked. My beer battered cauliflower tacos were mushy and the elote didn't have its usual kick and flavor. If this was the first velvet taco we had been to, it would have ruined the whole chain for me. Service was alright. Location next to gas station in a retro looking building, so we had high hopes it would be nice inside, but it was meh.

Incredible taco spot in Houston. Definitely a must go to spot if you are in the area and looking for something new. Their tacos are very filling and extremely tasty. 4/5 because it wasn’t like the Taco King truck in cypress if you know what I’m talking about, but it’s a step above Torchy’s for sure. Service and atmosphere is 3/5 because let’s be real it’s just your average atmosphere and service.

I love how this place opens so late! This is my second time getting velvet taco however the first one at this location. Chili shrimp was probably the best taco that we got, the rotisserie chicken was not good as it was very mushy and finally the Korean fried rice taco was all right. I’d come back and try their other tacos.

Friendly service but do not take the time to separate the brisket. Have gotten food poisoning from this location. Will not be back
Owned by private equity group that also owns healthcare companies that make money off of other people's illnesses. While the tacos are good, their values are not.
Great outdoor seating. Smelly indoors. Fast and polite service. Full bar. Decent variety of beer. Lots of college football flags.

Pet-friendly patio, pleasant and professional staff and perfectly-paired combos (2 tacos + a side + drink (adult libation - pictured L rita w/ Tajin)) make this my go-to weekly. Spicy Tikka Masala chicken tacos are always a hit along w/ the elote ?

Everything was fine. Just that the food was very mild in flavour. I ordered the vegetarian food ( Paneer Taco and Nashville Taco )

The Korean Fried Rice Taco and the Birra Taco are amazing. I was a little underwhelmed with the Slow-roasted Angus Brisket and Chimichurri Steak was a little dry and bland. I really don’t think that’s the norm… we came in about 35 minutes before closing so I’m sure it was the end of the day. As good as the first two tasted, I know the other 2 were an atypical experience.
Overall, I would definitely go back… it will just be earlier in the day! ?
