Velvet is my go to for late night food that actually tastes good and doesn’t make you feel awful the next day. I’m giving 4 stars only because it’s not always perfectly kept up and you’re obviously not getting wagyu steak LOL, but if you’re craving delicious, gourmet style tacos, Velvet Taco is absolutely the place to go.

The Velvet Taco in West University was great in food quality and quantity and customer service. I especially love the queso blanco sauce with blue tortillas chips.I will definitely come back to visit this location again.

At the Washington location — Sean hooked me up. Dude walked me through the menu like a boss. Loved the fish n chips. Bring this back to Lubbock please — had to fly to Houston to get my fix!
