Cute little cozy spot for coffee! Inside isn’t super spacious but there’s some tables, couches, and window seats. My friend and I ordered the pumpkin spice latte, salted caramel latte, and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. The staff were friendly and our drinks came out within 10 or so minutes.
The coffee art was done beautifully! The taste was nice but I should’ve ordered the coffee to be extra hot because it was a little lukewarm. The pumpkin chocolate chip muffin was delicious though! I saw some flyers for events that are being hosted at Verbena so hopefully I can make it to those sometime in the near future.

Very rare do I give reviews but when I do it’s when a business deserve it and Verbena coffee is It. I even forgot to take a picture before I started clugging this drink because it was THAT GOOD. I got the salted caramel latte with a cold foam and the barista was a great help! The customer service/ conversation with the barista felt like two friends catching up with a cozy atmosphere. I was a bit skeptical the drink was going to be too sweet because he did not measure but this drink was honestly the best coffee I have ever try and the price is incomparable to another popular places. I’m so glad I decided to give this place a try 10/10 would recommend.

Nice ambiance... all the appearance of a great neighborhood coffee shop.... lacks an important ingredient ... good coffee ... and food ... coffee was simply poor taste/quality. Muffin was dry. Service ok. Staff friendly.

What a fun little coffee shop tucked away in the corner at Kirkwood and Memorial. Unique coffee taste and great pastries. We really like the personal touches of custom plant holders and local art on the walls.

The most delicious coffee! Definitely has become a go to when I visit Houston.
I tried this place because the lovely owner was handing out free coffee coupons at a networking event I attended, but I'm so glad I did! The place is cute, smells great, and the coffee was amazing! I got a strawberry and honey decaf iced latte with oatmilk. The barista was really helpful and suggested the dairy alternative that would pair the best with the flavor I chose. She was also patient and made the strawberry suggestion when I was struggling to decide what I wanted. Definitely one of the best coffees I've had! They used real honey (not syrup) and I also got a croissant that was buttery and delicious. Would definitely buy again! And I love supporting local business.

My husband and I are coffee people, and we typically go to the closest coffee chain near our house. After stopping in at Verbena, we are lifetime fans! My husband likes his coffee strong enough to keep him going all day, and I like mine strong but sweet. I showed the barista our orders at the other place, and they made drinks to match our tastes perfectly! We also tried a pastry, and it was AMAZING. The staff is so nice, I could tell many people who were there were regulars. The owners are so nice and present at the shop. I can tell they pour into their staff, and I like to spend my money at places where I know the staff is taken care of! Highly recommend Verbena!
