We really wanted to like this place, but the experience made that impossible. We arrived at 6:30 pm, waited about 10 minutes to be seated, and then watched four different servers walk past our table without acknowledging us. By 6:52, we still didn’t have water and were debating whether to just leave. Only then did someone finally decide to take our order.
The pizza took another 40 minutes to arrive, and unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the wait. I ordered the Detroiter — it was mostly bread, very little flavor, and the mushrooms I added seemed more like a rumor than a topping. My wife’s pizza (The Stooges) had better flavor, but still nothing memorable.
In short: slow service, bland food, and an overall disappointing experience. With so many great pizza options around, this one didn’t make the cut.

Great place. Excellent pizza flavors. Fresh good pizza. If you wanna good Detroit pizza try this place! It’s takes about 20 minutes to get your pizza so ya know it’s fresh! Thicker crust but even with the thick crust it was nice and crunchy crisp!

When the Houston deep dish pizza institution Barry’s closed in 2020 after 37 years, we’ve longed for a great Detroit style pizzeria. After seeing Via 313 featured in the Houston Chronicle “Best Pizza” feature, we were excited to see if this might be the place. 313 did not disappoint! Our favorite is adding black olives, mushrooms, and artichokes to the pepperoni Detroiter. The pie’s crust perfects the signature Detroit style of crisp cheesy edges. Now if they can come up with a creamy bacon salad dressing like Barry’s had, I’d be in absolute heaven!

Lex, our server, told us this franchise originated in Austin. Despite that fact, we enjoyed our visit. I got a Detroit style carnivore. My wife had The Temptation(s). The toppings were cooked through, the cheese just slightly burnt and crispy crunch with every bite. The hibiscus margarita was also a refreshing drink on a warm afternoon.
Tomato sauce with low quality. People were nice but food was sub par. Probably will not go back. Also advertised trivia and it didn't happen.
