We been to Vic & Anthony for more than 25 years at least 5 times per year and this was the very first time that 3 things went wrong with our service. They brought us the wrong bottle of wine, they forgot our only side dish, and they reduced our credits without asking us first. I hope this is one isolated bad day... will be there next week again with other friends, will see how it goes! Cheers!
Service was great. We had oysters which tasted fantastic. Lobster tail and a filet for entrees. All cooked perfectly. Great experience
Staff was very polite. Sonia our server went out of her way to accommodate all our special requests! Manager took care of us & I would recommend everyone to go enjoy the delicious food & customer service
I had an outstanding experience at Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening special, anticipating needs before I even had to ask. The food was absolutely exceptional. The steaks were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, with that perfect balance of char and juiciness. The sides and appetizers were just as impressive—each dish prepared with care and delivered beautifully. The wine list was extensive, and the staff offered spot-on recommendations that paired perfectly with the meal. It's rare to find a place that delivers on both food and service at such a consistently high level, but Vic & Anthony's does just that. An ideal spot for a celebration, a business dinner, or simply an unforgettable night
If you are looking for OUTSTANDING SERVICE, please do yourself a favor and request to sit in DOMINIQUE's section. What an absolute gem! Why take my advice? I am a former service trainer and you can't teach what Dominique has. He is special. His suggestions? On point. His timing? Perfection. His Rapport? Easy. Knowing you will be taken care of so you can just relax and enjoy? PRICELESS! Side note: our hostess and the manager on duty that night left something to be desired, but Dominque made up for ALL of their blunders. Thank you again, Dominique for such INCREDIBLE SERVICE. It's been a long time since I have had a service experience that motivated me to fill out feedback requests. You deserve it!
Seth was great very attentive knew when to lean in and when to back away to let us chat. The Sommelier was very accommodating and brought out a wine that paired very well and didn't break the bank(Mastro's Somm should learn a thing from this guy) and the food well it was on point as always!
Hostess wasn't very welcoming. We had a reservation. they allow a 15 min grace period, we got there at 19 mins after, we were a few mins late for but we called ahead and let them know and still waited 30+ mins to get seated. Our waiter was nice but the experience was just underwhelming as far as service goes. The menu wasn't explained, I don't even recall the waiter telling us his name. Not sure if I would go back.
We love going to Vic & Anthony's. It never fails to live up to our expectations. Our steak was so tender, the sides hot and cooked to perfection, and our server, Edgar, was exceptional! Thanks for a perfect dinner date for me and my husband.
I want to make it clear the poor service did not come from our waiter or dinning room staff. It was the hostess! It was unbelievable!!! We spent over $400 to cerebrate a special occasion and had an amazing experience until it was time to leave. We were told we could leave our car in the valet parking to attend the game. When we came back the valet line to get our car back was long to say the least. Stand outside in the Texas heat and humidity my husband started feeling a little light headed. So, I suggested he go inside and ask for a glass of of water since he had patronized the restaurant just a couple of hours earlier. So he did and came back out shocked at the hostess' rudeness. He explained to her that we had eaten there and were now waiting for our car from the valet parking in the heat and humidity and needed a glass of water to which she rudely retorted, “No, we don't do that.” Then proceeded to turn her head to ignore him. I'd like to point out he was clean and dressed appropriately he could in no way be mistaken for a homeless person. So, WOW! Landry's, what a way to take care of your patrons. Until now this restaurant had been our go to for all our special occasions. We have spend literally thousands at this restaurant, we are members of the Landry's Select Club but can even be given a glass of water while waiting for our car in your valet line!!!! Unacceptable!!
Dominique, our server, was amazing, enhancing our dining experience!! Have a great meal and the service was exceptional!

Food, service and atmosphere was fabulous! Crab cake and lamb chops were delicious! Can't wait to go back!
Can't believe the dress code can't allow shorts and jerseys on Astros game days. Ridiculous! Totally ruined my gathering of 4 old friends. I WONT be back.
Went for Houston Restaurant Week and everything was phenomenal! Great fast service. Our server got us in and out quickly so we could make it to the Astros game!
My husband took us here for my 40th birthday and the experience was amazing. Everyone was so kind and attentive. We were seated immediately and served water. Our server was very kind and professional and even requested that someone come and talk to us about wine selection. The manager came and helped us pick our wine and served it himself. The food was delicious. I had the lobster bisque, filet mignon with whipped potato and lobster. Lastly, they served us desert and even wrote happy birthday and that was so delicious too. We would definitely come back again.
Longtime Favorite Falls Short – A Disappointing Visit I'm genuinely disappointed in what used to be one of my favorite upscale dining experiences. I've celebrated my birthday at Vic & Anthony's for nearly a decade, often taking advantage of the Landry's Birthday reward during Houston Restaurant Week — a tradition I've always enjoyed. This year, however, the evening fell far short. Reservation & Atmosphere: * My 6:30 PM reservation wasn't honored until about 6:50 PM. * It was warmer than comfortable near the windows where we were seated. * A steady drip of water hit my back and hair during dinner — mentioned to staff, but no manager addressed it. * The noise level was extreme, more like a cafeteria than fine dining. Food: * Dinner was average at best. * The real issue came with dessert — halfway through my brownie, I discovered a fly embedded in it, still trying to escape. Reviewing my video later, I saw the fly was already there when the plate was served, meaning it came straight from the kitchen. * The dessert was replaced, but this never should have reached the table in the first place. Valet Parking: * A chaotic, poorly managed experience — likely worsened by a concurrent Astros game. * Waited 20 minutes for my car and over 30 minutes for my guest's. This visit left me questioning quality control in the kitchen and the overall management of what should be a premium experience. Sadly, after many wonderful celebrations here, I don't see myself returning.
