I typically order to go. I get the shrimp fried rice and green chicken curry. It’s a lot of food. I typically have leftovers for the next day. Food taste amazing and the atmosphere of the restaurant seems nice. everything is well kept and clean just from a visual standpoint. I will continue to get my food from here
The BEST Authentic Thai Food in Houston! I am Thai and have lived here for 26 years. I’ve eaten at Vieng Thai from the old time it first opened probably around 2025, 2 decades ago, until today. The taste still is the same!
Tom is also Terrific singer! We have enjoyed his songs and his performances every Saturday. Ple, the waitress, is also very kind, attentive, and professional.

I crave the food from here daily. It’s a blessing to my bank account that they don’t use delivery services! So… It’s a semi whole in the wall place & when you walk in, it has a nostalgic charm/feel. Every time I’ve been, there’s always diners who you can tell are regulars. It’s BYOB & some weekend nights they have a guitarist. Now the food~ I’m picky with Asian cuisine & this place hits all the marks. The noodle dishes are never overcooked or lack “sauciness”...
