I bought my flans from Viet Food just YESTERDAY. Tell me why one of them already had molds formed inside the closed container. Honestly I’ve always loved to buy flans here because of its price (even though it kept increasing from $2.50 now its $3) and it’s quality. However, the experience from yesterday to today really ruined it. I was just so shocked when I saw the molds, I literally threw it in the trash right away.

Just as the name mentions it, this place is good when you're on the go. They have a good variety of dishes, it's not gourmet standard, but it's pretty decent to fill your stomach up, my favorite is their shaking salmon and Thai green tea. Not a lot of space to dine in, so I'd recommend just getting your food to go, their service is fast though which is why I enjoy coming here when in a hurry.

No frills, hole in the wall Viet spot serving legitimate, delicious banh mi (among other Vietnamese fare). The banh mi thit nuong is a must get. I get two of them every time and knock em' down within 15 minutes. They are to die for. They're masterfully crafted, with the perfect ratio of meat, bread and greens. Their bread is almost perfect, with a delicate, crisp exterior and a fluffy, chewy interior. The greens are relatively standard and mundane in comparison, but the star of the show is the thit nuong; extremely well seasoned: nice and sweet, with a hint of smoke from the grilling process. You cannot go wrong ordering this sandwich.

I went here to order the spring rolls. It's always good here so I was excited for it. Sure enough when I ate it this time, the rolls were tough inside and out. I'm Việt so I know when they put it in the fridge over night. You don't do that with spring rolls because it's tough and you can't microwave it either. So disappointed. Will either request for fresh ones or not but it from there again.

One of the hidden gems here is Thai green tea, done very well with obvious taste of the tea. Definitely order as is (with ice) because the drink is already presweetened and needs the dilution. Otherwise the menu is pretty complete with basic viet dishes, made on the spot by Viet aunties shouting Vietnamese in the background. Plenty of vegetarian dishes along with rice plates and noodle soups. Would skip their bun rieu, it was a lackluster soup with one crab (?) meatball, a small fried tofu, and a lonely floating tomato slice. Their selection of already made snacks are fun and well-made. Overall a neat little hidden gem in the southeast side of town. If you come off hours, there is a few tables to sit. Avoid the crazy crowds during peak hours and call ahead to get to go. The only downside is the service is a little slow, even during off hours. There are times when I came here when they simply forgot my order, once they skipped over my order completely then reprinted my order and placed me back in line like I wasn't already there for 30 minutes.

Very accommodating. We had switched our pick up times same day and they made it work for us! When I arrived at the scheduled time they had the tray ready for pick up. The egg rolls are crisp with a whole shrimp inside, well seasoned. Great option for parties. Can't speak for dine in, but they had about 10 tables to sit at in a relatively small but clean space!

As a California native, I can honestly say that Viet Food to go is honestly one of the best hole in the wall Vietnamese spots. They offer so many options for tasty and authentic Vietnamese food. The food here is just as good as the places i’ve been to in California’s Little Saigon. The owners were super kind and attentive when they took my order and told me that everything is made fresh in house. My personal favorites is the Bô Lúc Lác or shaken beef. The prices are also very very reasonable. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of the food but it was great. One thing to note is they do offer sit down as well as takeout contrary to their name. Overall a great find for Vietnamese food!!

Wish I was given more than one small pack of hoisin and sriracha sauce but overall flavorful.
