My favorite Vietnamese since 1987 or so, when they were in Midtown on Main and Elgin. I hope they reopen!

I hate to report that this restaurant is permanently closed. One of my favorite spots in Houston. We drove by and now it is a different business. So disappointed.

Ugh, I can't believe it is gone. Such good food, many great people over the years. My first taste of Vietnamese food, back in 1986 or so, when it was on Main and Elgin. I hope Danny and his family are well!

Due to the current circumstances, we decided to to order carry out and chose Vietnam restaurant on W 19th, we ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and the imperial rolls, it was all delicious. I definitely recommend it...

We went here before an event and the food was very good. Everyone at our table loved what they ordered. I can't believe we've lived in the Heights for over 5 years and have only recently given the restaurant a try. We will be back soon and this time I will bring some wine!

The Vietnamese Beef is the best. The black pepper shrimp is to die for.

The only positive I have to say is they were friendly. The Pho had no flavor, it was like watered down broth. The only meat they had was the round steak, no tripe, tendon or meatballs. I was very disappointed and it wasn't worth the price either.

Lemongrass Tofu & Black Pepper Shrimp! It's nice to be able to go here around 6pm and easily get a table...we really like the fried rice here, lemongrass tofu & black pepper shrimp. The fried rice carries out nicely, too!

Looks humble and simple from outside , but clean and tidy inside,Late weekday lunch, great service from a young lady. Had the shrimp and pork rolls, beef soup. The star of the show was the rice pot with chicken, shrimp, mushroom and we added pork on the waitresses recommendation. There seems to be a sauce in the slightly sticky rice. It's one of the best special rice dishes out there . I will be back. great clean restroom by the way.

My favorite place to eat. I had the hot & chili shrimp for the first time and moved it. FYI....it is spicy!

Not authentic Vietnamese food. No Asians cooks or staff were there. Pho had little taste and was very salty. The meat is thin and has no taste. The waitress doesn't keep up with the water glasses.
