I've never tried this place before. I've been there for the first time a few minutes ago and was kinda surprised that the place didn't look more like a Vietnamese restaurant, but I wasn't really worried about that. Service was normal (even though there weren't that many staff members inside), but I wasn't worried about that either. For the food, I've gotten the chicken Lo Mein with vegetables as a to go order. It was good, even though the noodles were stuck together when I dug them out from under the pile of veggies (which were also good). The prices for the food were not bad either. Paid about $12-$13 for my meal. Besides the look on the inside, I probably would recommend more people to try this place out of they haven't yet.

Dirty Place, worst service. I do not recommend this restaurant. Their prices are super expensive. Expect a food poisioning and diarrhea and perhaps vomitting. We three people ate their food and all had stomach issues the following day.

Pho was really good, unfortunately not enough options. Rolls were also good but the shrimp fried rice was awful. So freaking bland. Never I’ve I had bland rice so bad.

On my initial visit, I found this place to be lacking in authenticity and cleanliness. I had to ask for help in tidying up my table, and the chicken curry I ordered seemed more like a soup, lacking the desired flavor.

The food was terrible..... we ordered a vermicelli bowl with beef; the beef was nothing but extra greasy gristle..... with EXTRA grease. The elderly lady server comes at you scowling with an aire of contempt, even after making the best effort to greet her with a smile and thanking her in the friendliest tone I could muster. (We thought perhaps there was simply a language barrier and she didn't understand us, but we later heard her speaking in English to some other customers. The ambience itself was also not too pleasant. The table was dirty and looked as though it hadn't been wiped down all week. The floors hadn't been swept and there was debris and food particles throughout. It kind of felt like we were at a rundown 24 hour laundromat in a very unsavory, high-crime part of town. Also noticed that they weren't First Responder friendly either.Would definitely NOT recommend to anyone. Ten thumbs down.

Great pho from a small family restaurant! I always get number 10.Edit: it has been a number of years since I have come to this place. The food is still super affordable, but I noticed that the amount of meat added to the combination pho plate has been reduced. That's really disappointing. It felt like I was eating noodles only and no meat. They used to have a large variety of meats in the combination plate. I don't know if I was unlucky and just got a bad batch. The food is still great however. I still recommend you coming but just keep in mind what I said. I might have just been unlucky.

There are not that many Vietnamese Restaurants in the North Shore area and I will say that this place is a definite hole in the wall. Inside it's not the prettiest place you may find in Houston, but the food honestly speaks for itself. I'm assuming family owned and authentic as it can get. I tried the Vietnamese Grilled Pork Sandwich which was delicious. The bread was a Vietnamese French Baguette and traditional filled sandwich with cilantro, jalapeño, pickled carrots and more. We also got our go-to Grilled Pork and Rice which had a good flavor and a spicy fish sauce. The ladies that worked there were super sweet and the elder or grandmother of the restaurant gave us our food that we ordered to go. No pictures of the food because I forgot.. but next time I'll definitely snap a few for the Yelp. (Considering there will be a next time, I do recommend this place.)
