The food is delicious, but I'm a bit confused about how they calculate tips. I go with 4 people. Most restaurants will automatically calculate extra tips when there are 5 or more people. We always go with 4 people. And the Bill always automatically adds a 15% tip on the bill. Note that everyone should review the bill when there are few people.
It's one of few restaurant that have good value lunch specials.
But the food tastes are just average and portions are small compared to other restaurants. My favorite is their deep fried flounder.

Vinh Hoa is very consistent good Chinese food. Even on a weekday the food was punctual, fresh, especially the eggplant, and delicious! Even on weekdays the sifu did not skimp.
Give this place a try, it's some of the most authentic Cantonese cuisine in Houston, especially the seafood where they have it fresh in the tanks.
