I thought I was a New York Pizza snob, but I'm humbled by the textures and flavors of the slices we tried. It was awesome. I had a Primo something or other and my wife had something with smokey mushrooms - (no, not the psychedelic kind, silly, though this place would have been awesome to go to when I was in high school and making mistakes...). Southern Smoke? It sounds like I was stoned when I came here, but no, just tired, so I don't recall the names of what I had. I might need 4-5 more visits to start getting familiar with the varieties. These pizza craftsmen know their shtuff

The pizza was mediocre in my opinion. We ordered carryout. It was my first time trying Vinny's. It's in a cool location in East Downtown. It's around a lot of bars and is very walkable. I did feel like the pricing was on the high side for pizza. A bottle of sprite was $5. I would come back but not anything to rant about
People are nice but this pizza sucks. It had fried dough consistency, undercooked. Tried 3 different slices, all tasted the same, barely had sauce which was less than flavorless. If people are calling this the best in Houston, Houston is in trouble.

Great pizza and lively atmosphere. 1st timmera the stafe gave us directions on how their system of ordering worked. They even had classic anime and oldie cartoons playing from childhood. The music was live and great place to eat after the club too. Will return. Keep up the great work. The crust and ingredients were fresh and not soggy.

Everything I could ask for in a pizza. Crust was darn near perfect. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and easy to separate with each bite. Toppings all seemed fresh.
