I’ve never experienced such unnecessary hostility at the door of a bar. The doorman with the beard on duty Friday night went out of his way to be confrontational, dismissive, and outright rude. My friend, who had a valid Texas ID, was turned away without a legitimate explanation, despite fully complying and doing nothing wrong. We are all attorneys and 2/3 of us work for the city.
What made the situation worse was the blatant power-tripping. Three attorneys in our group were told to “go home” simply for standing outside the bar, not causing a disturbance, not arguing, not even trying to enter. We were there peacefully while celebrating a birthday, yet were treated like criminals for existing near the entrance.
There was no professionalism, no de-escalation, and no respect, just bullying behavior and arbitrary decision making. Door staff are supposed to ensure safety, not manufacture conflict or ruin people’s nights for sport. All the while he’s barking at us to move from the sidewalk a girl is being CARRIED OUT by 4 men and a group of people as she was clearly passed out/too drunk, etc.
If this is the kind of treatment patrons can expect, I’d strongly recommend management take a hard look at who they’re putting in charge of first impressions. One person’s ego shouldn’t be enough to chase paying customers away. It felt like racial profiling when we are all licensed attorneys. I will be serving this establishment with a formal complaint.

My first time here enjoy a margarita but dont be fooled Plenty of other margaritas to choose from rum based, decor is really nice they have food and pool tables plenty of room for any party

Been here many times, but recently for an impromptu post-wedding party (~12 people). All the bartenders and staff were great, drinks were great, and everyone had a blast. Will always come back.
OMG I really like this place. The frozens are a trap. They taste like smoothies but they do have alcohol in them. The design and amenities are also really fun and it's a great place to hang out with friends. And another thing! The food was AMAZING! I literally gained five pounds when I weighed myself the next morning because of everything I ate.
The visit caused no concerns.
