This morning my family and I decided to start our day at the Waffle House located at 17609 FM 529 in Houston, TX. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. Our seating choices were between a table surrounded by syrup on the floor or one with more food on the ground than on the table. Since the server was only cleaning tabletops, we chose the lesser of two messes. As I positioned our stroller near the bathrooms, the manager, Styphany, approached us, not with a greeting or a good morning, but to tell us we could not block the bathroom doors because of fire codes. The doors opened away from us, so it was unclear how we were blocking them. Still, we adjusted and tried to make the best of it. Our server brought a cold cup of coffee, which I politely declined, and I requested a different beverage. When our meals arrived, our All-American breakfasts were missing the waffles. The server never returned to check on us, so we could not get it corrected. Before leaving, we saw two employees arguing loudly over a pen, even though I was paying with Apple Pay and did not need one. The entire visit felt unwelcoming and chaotic. It is safe to say we will not be returning to this location.

Great customer service. I had an issue with my order and let Waffle House know online. The manager called me the next day and offered me a full refund for the inconvenience I dealt with.

Fish or Niah gave horrible service.I walked in to a fairly full restaurant and went directly to Take out order register. I stood there almost 10 min to place my order. Then Niish/Noah, African American girl comes over and asked me to move so she could check out a customer who dine in. So Im not happy about that. Then as Gabriella saw me, she walked over to help, but at this same time 2 customers came in to make a Togo order at the register, so Im having to make mine in front of a seat. To top it off, the other to go order was ready before my one order. Mind you, Im on a quick work break.

This was our first time at this location. So glad that we decided to take the drive ... fabulous Waffle House ... Erika was our server -- she is awesome -- very professional and friendly. Chatted with District Manager, Alex too...also fabulous.

I didn't get their names, but the two employees who worked on Aug 29th around 230 a.m. did me righteously! Was in an out of there and my to go order was perfect. I had a lil ways to drive home but when I got to my place everything was still hot and fresh. Grits were the bomb! Cheese eggs on point!

I came today on 8/2/25 and had the best service I have ever experienced! Bryan, Ms. G and Nae gave us outstanding service. My food was served quick it was of great quality and with a polite respectful manner! Thank you for going above and beyond. Give these guys a raise!

Man the food tastes like the box it was in will the stack was not it to me then after the fixing our food she made her own and seat behind us and her food looks better the ours was not feeling it

Was completely ignored. Waited patiently an extra 25 min after my pick up order was supposed to be ready only to be met with attitude by one server when speaking with another patron. Come to find out the order was ready but no one said/asked me anything. This is the first time this has happened here that's why I left 2 and not 1 stars (I've never seen the one with the attitude before so maybe he was new). Left a very bad taste in my mouth.
