Went there after 9pm. Takeout window only. This kind of sucks. Food was overseasoned to the pointit was inedible (pork chops with way to much pepper). The person at the wondow and the cook were friendlyand very pleasant

Went to Waffle House on Rankin Rd this morning in Houston Texas store 2260. I have never had an issue with the food or service until today 1/4/25. Me and my husband got our usual order bacon, grits, toast, eggs and coffee. First of all the service was slow. We’re waiting on our order for inside at the table and the people at the counter are getting their food first. They brought the coffee it was warm instead of hot. Got the food about 20 minutes later it was warm. My husband bacon was burnt and hard. He was able to eat the rest of his food but I couldn’t eat anything. My entire plate was awful. Never came back to check on us at all. Kept forgetting what we asked he for. I was so upset I asked my husband if we could leave. Got to the register explained that I couldn’t eat anything and that I wanted the food taken off our order the cashier kept talking like I wasn’t talking to her. So we paid for food I couldn’t eat. I think I should have been compensated for the bad service and food but I wasn’t. So looks like I’m done with Waffle House. SMH
