We went to the WH on FM 1960E near I 45N about 9:30 a. Right after the breakfast rush..the servers and cooks are first rate..been going there for years and years...But now hear this !!they're remodeling and closed for now 12/15/2025!!

The food was waffle house food. If you like it, then nothing i say will change that. If not, the same. Some of the employees were great. One tried to very obviously break the law and got upset when he was overruled, but overall a good experience. I'd visit again.

The only reason for the 5 star review is because of the cook! I don’t know his name but he works that grill and his food is 100 EVERY TIME! I tip him every time I decide to come to the Waffle House. The wait staff can be more attentive to their customers. They have personal conversations with each other and do not check on their customers regularly. They bring you the food and that’s it. I will be coming back only because of the COOK!!! Sometimes. Good food outweighs poor service. I understand they can get busy at times but you should still be able to move around as needed. Then get mad when there is no tip left. Manager needs to train the staff to be like the COOK!!!!!!! I would be here everyday!!!!

We come from corpus to Houston often and we ALWAYS make sure to stop at a Waffle House. Food was great, Tee did a good job in helping distract my 19mo old. The cook was peppy and seemed in good spirits. Overall… great experience

Today I when to get at the waffle on 1960 n 45 north the watter ask was i dinner in ir to go i said dinner in so i sat down no one came to my table like no one but some other customer can in and place they order before me n I was waiting 10 min still know one came so I got up n left. Now this it's my first first experience at this location it happen before but I didn't say nothen. I just want to say I will never go but to that location.
I gave 5 stars because my waitress well cashier and other workers were very polite and my food came out fresh & fast! But Waffle House as a company, THE AUDACITY of making me pay a to-go fee, service fee, and tax is INSANE! If all you offer on the weekends is TO-go, why am I paying to be serviced TO-go? Everybody don't fight in Waffle House less known ANYWHERE public! Hire more security to control the traffic & pay your workers more so they will perform best in all situations & want to make some damn GRAVY (cause it's never none for my hashbrowns)...FREE MEAL ME AND MY SISTER PLEASE !
