Water was the best thing on the menu. Avoid this place at all costs

The service at this place was incredible. The ladies were so welcoming and just made the entire experience worth the price.

I had breakfast here two days in a row before the quilt show. There was a 30 minute wait both days. That was even more frustrating because I could see a half dozen empty tables from where I was.The first day I ordered poached eggs and and avocadoIt took more than 30 minutes for the kitchen to deliver it. The second day I opted for the buffet which they push you to. It was nothing special and not particularly well organized. I still had to get up and ask for coffee and water and the check a few of the people in there care, But most don’t. They are understaffed.

Walker Street Kitchen turned out to be a good spot for breakfast in downtown Houston. The buffet was excellent and a solid value for the price. The made-to-order omelet bar was definitely the highlight, fresh and cooked just the way I wanted it, ham, mushrooms and cheese. Our server, Thomas, couldn’t have been better. He was attentive, kind, and right there when we needed him. All around, a really enjoyable visit.

Amazing food, great customer service, Janay, Lyndis, AND the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best breakfast experience. The food was phenomenal! Definitely recommend!! Would add more stars if I could!

The website hours and price for brunch were incorrect, so the only choice was the buffet and it cost $2 more per person than the website said. It was fine once we got over those two disappointments.

Highly recommend avoiding the breakfast buffet. It's very overpriced for what you get. The food was horrible and disappointing. If we had a do-over we would have ordered from the menu. But you could probably do better by finding a different restaurant altogether.

No tuvimos opción de elegir a la carta, solo tenían buffet, si estuvo bien, pero pocas opciones de la mesa caliente, buen servicio y buen ambiente
The turkey club was the driest sandwich ever, never had turkey as dry as this.
The fired calamari, from my Louisiana cuisine experiences, was either twice fried in spent grease or refried leftovers because it was more like eating bacon bits. This is supposed to be calamari, I wasn't going to post anything about this good or bad but this was on Saturdays lunch which lead me to feeling sick through the night and into Sunday afternoon. It absolutely ruined Our weekend. I will personally avoid this location upon my return for a convention in September.

Did a Togo order, of shrimp and grits. First off the grits were amazing the sauce had a bit of a sweet flavor that I didn’t care for but it wasn’t bad. It kinda complimented the savory flavor of the grits.
We got the breakfast buffet and the food was great! Our server Ciara was the best server we had in Houston!
Great service provided by Kevin during my stay in February for a conference. Food was great and atmosphere was perfect for morning breakfast.
Wonderful breakfast. I had the avacado toast (SO good) my mom had french toast and it was through the roof good. The staff was very friendly and on top of things. The coffee was perfect.
I don’t leave reviews often, but I’d like to here. First, Gwen is awesome and should get a raise. Second, the breakfast is a Marriot Buffet! You either like this or you don’t. I thought it was delicious and very enjoyable and I’ve eaten at fancy hotels around the world. 5/5 stars.
