Just a question for all in the industry: Why, when there’s no one to greet me or other guests, I put in my order on a touch pad, and the only human interaction received was when someone came around the corner and simply said my name because it was ready… why does the transaction ask me if I want to tip? No thank you for coming in. No have a great day. But a machine asks on their behalf if I want to give extra. Coffee was fine, you’ll get your fix, but not worth it unless your walking passed the place. We’ve abandoned the basics of gratitude.

Waygood is my favorite coffee shop in Houston, hands down. I go to the Kirby location regularly on my way to work. They make their own in house syrups and even their own milk! They always have seasonal options that range from classic flavor combos you’d see in any coffee shop, to really unique combos I’ve never seen before. They have an app & rewards program that’s free to sign up for. I’ve never had a single issue with my orders. The staff is friendly and fast. The Kirby location has a big cafe seating area, an outside patio, and a drive thru. If you’re anywhere near a Waygood and you choose the green mermaid place instead…well then, that’s your loss man.

I’m so thankful for this coffee shop! It is so close to my work and they have delicious authentic matcha, my fav is honey lavender matcha but they strawberry matcha is divine also. The drive through can get busy but they’re good about clearing the line fast. Today I ordered online to skip the drive through line and the inside was so cute! I will be back ❤️

The coffee here is actually very good — smooth and well-made, so credit to whoever’s behind the bar. Unfortunately, the service at the front completely takes away from the experience. The girl at the counter often gets orders wrong and then seems irritated when you ask for them to be corrected. Instead of owning the mistake, she tends to gaslight customers or act like they ordered wrong.
She also doesn’t seem to know the menu well — for example, basic things like what “kids temp” means — and makes you feel like you’re the one who’s confused. It’s uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially when all you’re doing is ordering a simple drink.

the strawberry in the strawberry matcha finishes after like 3 sips. then you’re left with 85% of your drink which is now just matcha and milk and the matcha is grainy and pretty bitter. if they fixed the ratio it could be good
Ordered a Hot Americano with an extra shot of espresso and once the lady handed me my drink through the window it immediately starts spilling out from the lid and by the time I was able to transfer it to my center console a good bit of it spilled all over myself and my vehicle. The lid itself did not stay on the cup and was loose. The coffee itself was somewhat stale and you could tell it was under extracted. I don’t think I will be coming here again
