From beginning to end the entire process was amazing i honestly just want to give a big thanks to Ms tammy allen for working with us for my wedding i accidentally messed up and put the wrong date for our wedding day and was literally horrified when i found out cause our wedding was the next day she and her team were able to still make our cake in such a rush time and i am forever grateful the cake tasted and looked amazing !! I even felt horrible because we asked her to stay later so that we could pick up the cake and she was so accommodating Ms tammy if we stessed you out in any way we apologize but you did such an amazing job everything was beautiful 5 stars is not enough for what you deserve ❤️ thank you and may the Lord continue to bless your business and family

Thank you so much Tammy and your team for making our dream wedding cake come to life. The whole experience with you all was amazing. The wedding tasting was so personal and it was so hard to choose flavors because they are all DELICIOUS! The day of our wedding they showed up to set it all up and so many of our guests complimented not only how beautiful the cake was but also how good it tasted, it was exactly what we picked at our initial appointment. Thanks again! We will continue to recommend you to our friends and family.

We sampled wedding cakes all over town before finally finding Tammy. The entire process with her was so much better than any of the other places we checked out. We knew immediately during the tasting that this was our cake! We decided on two flavors - the butter cake and the almond ameretta with raspberry and both were absolutely delicious. The sugar flower details on the cake were stunning. This was honestly one of my favorite parts of our wedding! Tammy was such a joy to work with and I could not be happier with what she did for us. I might need to have a party soon just to get another cake from her!

Tammy has the absolute best cakes I personally have ever had. Being a person who typically doesn’t eat cakes and orders cheesecake or dirt cake for celebrations, I tried Tammy’s cakes at a recent expo and fell in love. Tammy is a gem of a human with exceptional talent in the bakery world!

Tammy's cakes are so good! We LOVED the Texas Melon flavor and decided to order it for our wedding due to its unique and amazing taste. However, we were somewhat disappointed that the cake didn't entirely consist of the Texas Melon flavor as we had ordered. While the cake was still delicious, some layers deviated from the Texas Melon.Upon reaching out, Tammy promptly acknowledged the error and refunded us $100, adhering to their contract's limitation on refunds. She also generously offered a free cake for one of our future birthdays or celebrations to make amends. Despite the deviation from our initial order, Tammy's acknowledgment of the mistake and efforts to remedy it were commendable. We wholeheartedly recommend Cakes by Tammy Allen!

Our experience was by far nothing short of amazing. We were referred to Mrs. Tammy by her daughter. We were making last minute changes to our wedding and we had only a month and half to execute everything. Tammy asked me what my inspiration was for my wedding cake. I sent her a picture and she executed it in full detail. Not only did it look good but the taste of the cake was like no other. It was magnificent. It was moist and tasty. She is absolutely the best at doing. I appreciate her for making our day special

You know when the cake lady herself say that was a "baaaaad" cake, you know exactly what she meant and my husband and I don't even like cake. But, no need to prolong the review because the images are proof that our wedding cake was indeed "BAD". Baby Ms. Tammy did her big one and she was so pleasant to work with. Keep her on rotation.

Wedding Cakes by Tammy Allen whew where do I begin…. From the customer service to the exact cake I asked for done by a perfectionist at its finest and not only did the cake look good but when I say melt in your mouth! All my guest has reached out to me for information on the cake I had at my event for different occasions they were having just to be sure they had the best of the best at their upcoming event! If you’re in the Houston area and you’re looking for a real good looking, very moist and delicious cake for any event Mrs. Tammy is the one to see! You won’t be disappointed and you definitely will be back!

PLEASE READ THIS AND OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE CONSIDERING. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I wish I had read reviews beforehand. There have been others who received the wrong cake, experienced poor attitude and unprofessionalism, showed up to their tasting only to be told it wasn't booked when it was, etc. Your wedding planning experience with any vendor should be a pleasant one.Our first experience with Wedding Cakes by Tammy Allen was at the Bridal Extravaganza and we fell in love with the melon cake. We then went to their open house event which was described as a cake tasting but it was a mini bridal extravaganza with their select vendors, and the cake was hidden in the back and by request only. That should’ve been our first sign that their business was shady. I spoke with Tammy Allen herself at the event and informed her of my intention of using a fake display cake and buying sheet cakes, expressed interest for a dessert bar with them, and asked her how to proceed. She replied that the next step would be to book an appointment for a tasting through their website. I booked it, paid the deposit, and received a confirmation email. The subject for which stated, “Thanks for Booking your Tasting & Consultation!” and the heading read, “You're booked! Hi, Your appointment is all set.” We arrived approximately 15 minutes early to our appointment. The doors were locked and the man who answered seemed confused as to why we where there. He was polite. He brought us in and gave us water. Then we sat for 22 minutes before anyone acknowledged us again. Tammy Allen greeted us at 1:37p and immediately accused us of not booking the appointment. She implied that we were confused, even though we showed her the confirmation email that clearly stated we were booked for that time and date. Tammy then deflected all accountability and stated her online portal did not email her regarding this and because she didn’t receive an email, it didn’t happen, regardless of the fact that the deposit had been withdrawn from my account and I had an email confirming it was booked. She then said the email is not a confirmation of my booking even though “You’re booked!” was written verbatim and it had details of my paid deposit. My fiancé and I are very understanding, have worked in the service industry for many years, could understand the error on their part, and were willing to move forward at the time. However, Tammy Allen never apologized, she refused to accept any accountability, and was instead needlessly accusatory and offensive. She then stated she would not make sheet cakes for us if we opted to get a fake display cake. I recounted my previous conversation with her when I had informed her of my intentions and was told to proceed by booking the consult/tasting. I would have considered obtaining a fake decorative display cake from her, but the overwhelming LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM and LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY was more than my fiancé or I could stomach, so we left. She had taken our deposit, wasted our time, and blamed us for the error on their part regarding the appointment. We DO NOT RECOMMEND her to anyone who values their time and hard earned money. I should have read reviews before booking the appointment. There is indeed an immense lack of communication and lack of respect from Tammy Allen and her team.

I wish I had read reviews on other platforms beforehand. Please do your research. Plenty others have had bad experiences regarding service, poor attitude, and unprofessionalism. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

UPDATE: The owner commented on this review on another platform, accused me of lying, and argued, "Secondly you where definitely greeted, seated, and given water." I clearly stated above that a polite man let us in, seated us, and gave us water. I am merely a former potential customer recounting my experience. After adding this update to the post, the owner removed that statement from her comment.
