After hearing about the highly anticipated Krabby Patty promotion at Wendy’s, I was excited to finally experience it for myself. Unfortunately, the meal left much to be desired in terms of presentation and overall experience. There was no special packaging or branding to indicate that it was tied to SpongeBob or the Krabby Patty theme, despite the advertising. What I received was simply a standard Dave’s Double and medium fries, all for the steep price of $13. For that cost, I expected something far more immersive and memorable, but the lack of any connection to the Krabby Patty left me disappointed. This felt like deceptive advertising, and I can't say it lived up to the hype.
