Really chill : needs no frills. They've got a decent beer selection and some bomb-ass tacos across the street. I should probably hang here more often.

I was just down the street doing laundry and I had about an hour to wait, so i started walking down the street and came upon WAlabama Ice house, they where playing slow soft music. So I went in and ordered a beer, the bar tender was very polite and the people around me were super friendly, I almost wished I could stay longer, I even meet a very sweet women there. But i soon had to go and get my laundry and take it home.

Love this place. It's a Houston institution. This is where you'll find real Houstonians.

25 years later and this place is still such a relaxing and enjoyable spot. You can't get much more laid back and unpretentious than this. The biggest drawback is the Houston heat. That impacts any outdoor space, so I'd rather be here than any of those.

The food truck tacos won't disappoint, so get enough to share.

Visited on our tour of Houston. Pretty chill, no frills bar. Loved the huge outdoor space! We're thankful for a spot the kiddo could run and play (without disturbing anyone) while we drank and relaxed.

Chill Friday with games and canned beer and some options on draft. The taco truck across the street is the best in H town
