Ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger that is only available for a limited time, and asked for extra sauce. There was absolutely NO SAUCE! All I taste is a mushroom burger. Usually there is sauce everywhere when I order extra sauce at the Whataburger on Gessner & I-10. This one is dry as hell! This is not the first time they did not get my order right, but what's a mushroom swiss burger without the sauce? That's the most important part about the burger! Come on yall, how do you forget the MAIN ingredient?? Especially when I asked for Extra sauce?? $20 wasted! 🤦🏾♀️ smdh

I eat here often and have for years. Most always have a good experience. Depends on who's working and mostly at night is when customer service degrades. After 10pm I've been totally ignored at the counter and drive thru is always slow. But food is always fresh and has been mostly accurate. I'll take that over speed anytime. 5/25 update...I haven't eaten here in a while as my fast food consumption is way down, I did stop by today and while some things have changed, employees, prices are up, they had a renovation, most everything else remains the same. Food was hot, fresh and for the most part accurate. I ordered a sweet tea and got unsweetened, which I don't need all the sugar anyhow so I'm OK with. Food was good, seems consistent. I enjoyed it.

I stopped here for a quick dinner meal between appointments. The facility was clean and orderly. The cashier was prompt and friendly. The food was prepared timely as ordered. The food was ok, I had a better food experience at a different Whataburger in the past.

I just have to point out the awesome here. No matter how busy they get or how confusing an order can be, they provide great customer service with a smile. They’re attentive, patient (even when you’re face deep in paperwork in the drive-thru), and courteous. That’s no small thing for a fast food restaurant this day and age.

Never coming back again! The past 5 or so times I’ve gone here, something wrong always happens. My daughter wanted to eat there for breakfast and against my better judgement, I agreed. The drive thru line was insanely long, so I made our order curbside. It was 10 minutes past the time our food was supposed to come out, so I called the restaurant and turns out our food had been ready for a while and no one came to bring it out!
The employees were very friendly and helpful, making suggestions and repeating the order.. but ended up making 3 different mistakes with my order, plus overcharging on my bill. I went ahead and paid it, I was on a date and that was more important than the overcharge at the time. But making mistakes in the orders..if someone is allergic to something, makes sure to not have it on the order, but receives it in the food anyway..that could cause a REAL medical and life threatening problem to someone.. sometimes small mistakes have serious consequences!! Be careful! In ordering as a customer, and completing it as an employee!! (And overcharging for something you don't get, or getting the wrong size of food, or a complete substitution..that's just annoying. Be careful!!) I really do like Whataburger, the food is almost always good, but it's becoming way too expensive for what you get, and it's not rocket science to double check an order before bringing it to a customer. 🙄👈

So 7 years ago I was so happy about this Whataburger , and when I worked there when I was a teenager back in 1997 . But recently I had very bad encounters with my order being taken and what was given when I got home ! I believe going thru a drive thru and the order was received and get home and nothing was right ! Not good at all ! Then call to say my order was wrong, the manager , says come back tomorrow and get the order replaced . But in the process of moving I really don’t have that option!!!! So me being a man to make my wife happy I went back to get a refund and had to settle for Mc Donald’s. At least my order was correct at McDonald’s, and when I was in Whataburger I saw 2 fry guys both grills going and still can’t nothing right !! Now this is why this place has gone down poor management!
