We had the peporni pizza and it was delicious. The price was reasonable.

Coffee came out room temp. Waters came out after our app. Just really slow service. The tortilla chips on the chilaquiles are soggy. Corn chowder was good. Eggs are good. Really nice atmosphere.

Had dinner here with my wife a week or two ago. Food and service were excellent and the price very reasonable for the quality. A lovely spot for dinner - give it a try and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Today I went to lunch with two other friends at White Elm. One of them ordered toast with sautéed mushrooms while the rest of us ordered toast with avocado. We were starting to eat when the face of the person who had the toast with mushrooms suddenly changed: girls, there is a cockroach among the mushrooms!
Indeed, nestled among the mushrooms was a cockroach. We tell the person in charge/owner and he answers: this is Texas 🤷♀️
He takes the plate to the kitchen and returns in an even worse attitude, denial. He comes back and tells us that that cockroach didn't come out of his kitchen, that that is absolutely impossible.
Believe me, it was bad to find that bug in the food, but the attitude of a person in charge who doesn't know how to be responsible was much more disgusting. I will never return in a thousand years and, of course, I do not recommend going. You know, this is Texas, meaning roaches are common here 🤷♀️

Today the manager of this place, in front of a huge cockroach cooked in the middle of mushrooms and avocado tartine instead of apologizing in every way for what happened, told us that it is normal in Texas, well…I think that the immediate closure of this place is normal because it does not respect the minimum hygiene rules.
Be aware what you have inside your plate!
I know is Halloween but find a cockroach cooked in your plate it’s disgusting..
I order the tartine with avocado and mushroom and well, in my mushroom tartine I found my surprise a well-cooked cockroach. Thank God my vision still good and I didn’t put a single bite in my mouth.
I immediately call the manager and show to him, his excuse was we are in Texas, it is normal!
What kind of answer is from a manager /owner of restaurant to a client?
On the top of everything, he actually had the audacity to say that the cockroach was put inside the plate by me and my friends. So disrespectful!!
Seriously, how can he accuse a client to carry a cockroach cooked and put in his own plate?
You should learn how to talk with your clients and do your apologies, that’s the minimum expected in this kind of situation and not your arrogant attitude.
My wife and I come here 2 - 3 time a week. It's a very nice place with an amazing staff.

How is this place not packed?
The food and atmosphere are fantastic! Adorable place inside, I got the quiche, amazing! Wow! Huge! It took me all weekend to finish it.
My friend got a croissant and it was perfect too. Reminded me of the croissants in Paris. And iykyk, the mimosas were poured perfectly!
I'm going back. Try it if you haven't.

This was our second visit. First one was not a pleasant experience, being a businesswoman myself, I thought, things go wrong every once in a while and gave them a second chance. This time was even worse. Food was horrible and service was even worse, it took forever to get our food which was far from acceptable. The waiting staff were rude when I asked why is it taking so long to get our food, the response was “I JUST HAVE TWO HANDS” with serious attitude.
Won’t recommend it and won’t go back!
Total waste of time and money.

There’s a large selection of spirits and wine on one side, and plenty of beers on the other. However, the variety of beers isn’t as broad as you might expect. The food is good, but the options are quite limited. Prices are higher than you'd think, but typical for this type of place. It's an okay spot to visit, but nothing more than that.

Our waitress was really nice but she was serving the whole restaurant and they looked pretty understaffed. She took our order, we wait. 20mins later, she sits a lady by herself next to us, and takes her order, and her food comes out first. Mind you we ordered a turkey blt sandwich which was $17, and a french version of a philly cheesesteak also $15+. We ended up getting our food about 15mins after the lady who got there after us. Made no sense!
