I was roaming the streets in Houston just for the weekend. My family and I were looking for a good place to eat but didn't know the area. Until I saw the corner of my eye I spotted this place driving and after looking at it, it seemed like an old-fashioned burger place. So we decided to try it and see what this place is all about. First off it is kind of cramped inside but it won't stop me because I understand it's only a downtown place. But man there's so many options from of course burgers, chicken sandwiches, regular sandwiches and chicken tenders. I've decided to get a Chili Cheese Burger while the kids wanted the chicken tenders. The timing for a busy place was not bad, pretty fast I might say. The first bite I took and knew it was just that old fashioned burger feel when you look at this place from the old side. And the chicken tenders are not your normal fast food place. Mostly all chicken and not filled with bread trying to make it look bigger. And on top of everything, FINALLY a place that serves hot sauce/ spicy ketchup. But yet that's just a personal preference for me. Overall if I go back to Houston I'll be one of those people saying before I drive back home I need to stop at Wimpy's or better yet the first thing I do when I get there is to go to Wimpy's. To the owner of this place, keep it up I will be back again

The burger was good. The bacon was cooked to perfection.The French fries were very well seasoned and cooked.Overall, a great place. I will be back to try more menu options.
The front sir is Extremely friendly! Food is good, but I really prefer the onion ring than the burger. Look at the decorations on the wall, very nice! Surprise for my visiting

Woooow!!!! I wish I would have been eating here at Wimpy's Hamburgers!!! They have some Amazing homemade burgers. I had the Wimpy's Ultimate Burger and added a egg to burger. It was gone within 5 minutes. The burgers here are juicy and flavorful. The combo comes with Hot and fresh seasoned fries. There is an option for onion rings, curly fries or okra and sweet potato fries as well. It is a Nice comfy place to sit and eat or just grab and go. They have Great prices and wonderful customer service. Try it out!!!!

walking distance from Allen Center. first time trying. friendly customer service. wimpy’s famous hamburger was good. it was cut in half without asking which I liked. really good fries but the ketchup ruined it for me. so trivial but the ketchup had funny taste - tried to swap out with another table but didn’t change taste. I would def go back but with my own ketchup as funny as that sounds.

Not sure why it was so long since I have ventured here for a burger, literally just a few short blocks from my work. Its a good burger, but possibly the price up front though you typically spend the same price everywhere else in downtown during lunch. Good burger and tater tots. Oh the Jalapeño Ketchup was a winner.
