This place has been more of a hit than a miss. If you want decent service, I recommend coming right when they open. Once the crowd starts coming in, the service attitude definitely matches what others have mentioned in past reviews. The food is consistently good, but don’t count on the service. In life, you give and take and here, you're mostly coming for the food.

Their crispy pork belly is the best i tried in Houston. Also the duck is close to perfect - very juicy and tender. Would come back for those (only!)
The flat noodle beef was good - awesome wok hei.
However, their chicken was the driest I had in a while… Also the home made chili paste was not good at all. Strong unappetizing flavor. And the HK style coffee milk tea was...

As a native Cantonese, I appreciate really good BBQ pork and roast duck. Wing Kee delivers on that every time. I always get take out but can see how people may be upset at their lack of service. Honestly, that's how Hong Kong is, so it doesn't bother me. If you get skipped, just speak up!
