Cute bar. I really enjoyed the gumbo.
The bartender was nice and attentive.
Great, happy specials!!🍸
The staff was exceptional, but I didn't care for the food. I ordered the fried flounder sandwich. The fish was done perfectly, but the slaw was served on the sandwich, plus the peanut sauce seemed to clash drastically. I love slaw and peanut sauce, but not on my fried flounder, I guess.
My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken jalapeño sandwich and let me try it. It didn't do anything special for me ether, and neither she nor I could taste any hint of the jalapeño. It was disappointing.
A friend & I met for drinks & apps. We ordered a combo app where you’re able to pick your own 3, so many good choices it’s hard to decide! We went with : Lemon Pepper Wings, Homemade Hamburger Sliders & Boudin Eggrolls. Super tasty! The pastry chef came out to offer us a tasting of her new pie, Chocolate Buttermilk, fresh whipped cream and fresh mint on top 😋 it was delicious and you could tell she made it with her soul❤️
Great place to start an evening. Good food, loved the margarita. Not too sweet.
Just had an appetizer, the gumbo, and it was amazing. I'm not in Houston a lot, but coming to places like this deserves the attention. The food was amazing
The deviled eggs are so good , well everything is.
Great food, great cocktails. Chill vibes. One of the best daquaris in the city. Rotating food menu. Great spot for a drink and food before an event at Toyota Center or NRG.
Just incredibly disappointed that we had a group of almost 30 people coming to Winnie's after a show at MATCH only to discover they were completely closed at 9:45 without a sign on the door as to why. I had even gone there a few days earlier to mention that there was a group coming after a match performance that night. While I'm sure there was a reason to close early, having to shift our plans that late at night on a Saturday wasn't great.
they won't tell you until AFTER you eat your food they don't accept cash. I refuse to support businesses again that don't accept cash. also no oysters as advertised. and food is sub par. won't be coming back. also place was nearly empty.. there's a reason why it's not a good idea to go into a slow restaurant.
Christmas galore! Great atmosphere and spirit of Christmas!

Get the burger!! Double meat! Also had a super refreshing local beer from Equal Parts brewery that the bartender suggested.

Went to the Miracle on Winnie and it was a great experience and photo op. The waitress was super friendly, the themed drinks and foods were so much fun!

We had a great time at Winnie’s and their pop up “Miracle Bar!” Our bartender, Seth, was so kind and helpful! I had the Snowball Old Fashioned, which I loved! My husband ordered the smash burger with a side of gumbo. I had the spiral ham sandwich with a side of fries. Our food was all very good.
We definitely will be back soon!
