Wok A Holic sits on the rink level of the Galleria and serves exactly what you’d expect—fast Chinese food. It’s not the best you’ll ever have, but it’s quick, hot, and consistently a notch better than the spot right next to them.
The menu covers all the basics—orange chicken, fried rice, noodles, bourbon chicken, shrimp dishes—and portions are generous for the price, especially considering you’re inside Houston’s most upscale mall. Combos make it easy to grab a filling plate without waiting long.
Seating is shared with the food court, so don’t expect a restaurant vibe. It’s more of a grab-a-plate, find a table, and keep moving kind of place. For a quick bite on the go, or when you don’t feel like wandering far from the shops and rink, this is a dependable option.

Guys, the only reason why the neighbor booth apparently has more visitors is because they are simply longer there than Workerholic. This booth tops their neighbor on light-years. Food quality is 12 of 10 stars. Price quality balance is outstanding!!! Big thumbs up!

Avoid. The city of Houston needs to inspect this place. Shrimp was off. Even the fried rice was bad. Diet Coke in a bottle was ok. Had about 3 or 4 guys standing behind the counter. Nobody seemed interested in doing much. Guessing the food had been sitting out all day. Never again. Could have gotten Chick-fil-A Canes or Chipotle in the same food court for less money and not worry about throwing up.

Came here a few weeks ago to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch/dinner and the food was pretty good for a mall Chinese spot, it wasn’t the best and wasn’t the worst, I would definitely eat from them again in the future. You get pretty decent sized portions too and all for a good price.

I was disappointed when a staff member tried to get our attention by saying ‘nihao’ to my kids, assuming we were Chinese just because we’re Asian. His attitude came across as mocking, which felt offensive. I hope for more cultural sensitivity in the future.

Best bourbon chicken I’ve ever had and might not be healthy but OmG the flavor is fantastic. Don’t ever change that dirty goodness! Its like dirty yummy guilty crack!!!

I’m surprised by the bad reviews. I had a great meal. It was steaming hot and fresh. Enough sauce to use on my rice. Service was good and friendly. They were fast. Soda had no flavor is the only complaintexcellent flavor. Hands down would get again.

This restaurant is in the food court in the Galleria Mall. They offer samples or their meats when you walk by to entice you to order a plate. There are 2 Asian restaurants adjacent to each other that serve almost the same things. I purchased a plate from each for comparison. What I found from Wokaholic is that the food is very flavorful but the meat is more hard, tough and chewy than the adjacent restaurant. I liked the flavor of the food from Wokaholic but would not order from them again because the meat was very chewy and hard to eat.
