Went in for the crawfish deal. The ads on Instagram are very misleading. $40 for 5 lbs is ONLY crawfish, sauce is additional $10. The H-Town bang crawfish we ordered initially did not look like the video here, not even close, barely had sauce and no melting butter. We ordered Mild, but after getting more garlic butter sauce, it became way too spicy and salty, too much Cajun seasoning to the point not enjoyable. Yet the server claimed that is Mild. The chicken dinner is normal, nothing special. Server never checked on us. He did pack our food to-go. At the end, I looked at the receipt and got charged $51 for 5 Ibs. We were never informed the sauce is $11 and not included in the 5 lb for $40 “deal.” Overall, bad experience with food and service experience.

A couple of friends and I went to eat their 5lbs for $40 crawfish deal. We were sat down , but weren’t given a menu until 10 minutes later. We ordered the crawfish, eggrolls, and a dozen oysters. Our crawfish took forever to come out. The oysters came after, but also took long, maybe 20 min after the crawfish. Our eggrolls came as we finished everything else, but the server did not even give us any fish sauce or salad with it. Our server NEVER checked on us and everytime we asked about our food because we were afraid they forgot, he seemed upset. After the meal, I checked my receipt and they charged us $50 for 5 lbs, despite their “deal”, mind you , we ate on a monday at 5pm so theyre deal should apply. Will not be coming back here. Food was good but the service was godawful.

I will never return to this restaurant. I visited this place after reading a few reviews in the Crawfish Community Facebook group. When I arrived, the server refused to acknowledge or help me place a to-go or and instead helped a party that walked in ~10 minutes after me. I spoke up and told him I was next. He ignored me. It was so embarrassing. A woman/patron who witnessed everything apologized. I left. I'm sure the food is incredible but the service was terrible. I'd rather drive over an hour away to get better service and food at another restaurant. Very disappointed.

Best fried chicken I’ve ever had and all the food is amazing. Great drinks, great place, patio, service. Five stars isn’t enough.

I definitely like the place and find it to be very elegant dining. It is a little hard to get vegetarian options (in the past I have had the congee). It is definitely good and the drinks and vibes are great. Service is also good. Very limited parking!

Came here on Thursday night around 8pm. There were plenty of seats so we decided to sit outdoors due to the good weather. They must've been short staffed. There were maybe 5-6 tables of guests outside and 5-6 inside. It took a little longer for the waiter to come take our order, maybe 10-15 mins but that was ok. He took our order but the Brisket Bo Kho was missing the bread so we had to ask. Then we never got the dumplings we ordered so we told the waiter but he seemed overwhelmed and it seemed like he went to check on it. Then 15-20 mins later came to check on us and was like ok you got everything but we actually didn't. What I believe happened was the bus boy was putting food on wrong tables and must've given out dish to someone else. The reason i say this is because he gave us the wrong dish twice!! Food wise the bo Kho was very salty so I would skip that. The Nguyen-er nguyen-er chicken was AMAZING. Snapper whole fish was market price so it was $65 that night. Would not get that again as it was so so. The Cajun oyster also very good. The chicken really was the standout--moist and full of flavor. Food-4 Ambience-5 Service-3

We came here for the Crawfish special. The food was good, but like other recent reviews have mentioned the service has been lacking as of late. They do seem understaffed at the moment, considering the bartender was the person to take our orders. I arrived around 6:26 and asked if I could put in a last minute happy hour order. It was around 6:31 at that point since it took a few minutes for the waiter to come back over to the table.Service was fine up until we got our food, and then it took a long time to get extra napkins or plates. We tried to make eye contact with the waitstaff a few times and it almost started feeling like we were being deliberately ignored. I had to remind them of my happy hour order before it came out - and then I was given meat eggrolls instead of the veggie ones I asked for. They did remove it from our tab and offered to bring out the veggie rolls instead, but it was too long of a wait at that point. It's a shame because I thought crawfish was good and well seasoned, but the service was really disappointing that night!

Service was lacking. Arrived, excited to try this place after searching on Eater for best Vietnamese food. Waited a few minutes at front before a young host arrived. It was unclear if we were supposed to sign up for a wait list. When she did show up, she addressed the party that arrived after me first—I had to point out that I had been waiting 5 minutes. The floor seemed understaffed and she could not tell me how long the wait would be for a table. I opted for take out as I had driven 4 hours from Eclipse Fest and was hungry.I got a duck salad and rice and was told it would take 20 minutes and I’d get a text reminder. I used the Bathroom and was surprised to find it dirty and unkempt.I waited but no text came. Finally I went back inside and food my food waiting. Undercooked duck.

Came for the crawfish and it did not disappoint! The Saigon Heat and H Town Bang knocked it out of the park!

Came by today and waited outside for opening only for a staff member to come out AFTER opening time to tell us they are short staffed.Should have put up a sign letting guest know your only accepting reservations instead of seeing people outside, and have them wait.

Tldr: found a huge, 3+ inch long bug in our crawfish and barely received an apologyMy boyfriend and I have eaten here a couple of times before and enjoyed their food. We were excited to try their crawfish and visited on 4/3/2024. We ordered 5 lbs of crawfish in the viet-cajun flavor with medium spice. When our crawfish came out and we began to eat it, we were disappointed to find it overcooked and not flavorful. Disappointment soon turned to absolute horror when my boyfriend pulled out a big brown bug from the middle of our bowl — it was at least 3 inches in length and bigger than some of the crawfish! It was completely intact, with giant legs, antennae, and all. It could have been a praying mantis, but I was too disgusted to scrutinize it closely. Keep in mind, we had both eaten several crawfish and the corn from our boil at this point already, all contaminated with the bug that had been cooked in with them. We alerted our waiter who said "that shouldn't be in there" and barely apologized. He simply asked if we were done and proceeded to whisk away the bowl of crawfish. When he returned with our bill, he remarked that we were good, since we didnt order anything else besides the crawfish (implying we would have been expected to pay for any other items we ordered, after they literally served us a bug). No manager came out to apologize to us or try to explain the huge health code violation that had just occurred. The waiter did not offer to replace our food, bring us something else, or even grant us a sincere, profuse apology to try and save the horrible experience we had. I wish I had taken a photo before the waiter took everything away. I genuinely did not anticipate I would have to write this review, but we received none of the explanation, remorse, or apology we would expect from a highly rated establishment such as this one. A bug of this size should have been impossible to miss if they cleaned their crawfish at all. Given that, I would be extremely wary about the standards (or frankly lack thereof) they uphold in their kitchen when it comes to cleaniness and safe food preparation. All in all, I would highly recommend visiting a different restaurant when you're craving crawfish this season. There are numerous others in the area that have better crawfish, cleaning practices, and customer service.

Upon arriving there is a small lot in the front and also in the back. I had no issues with parking! We were seated within 5 minutes but it took ages for the waiter to come. They had a special on crawfish, which is exactly what we came for. Boy were they good. We opted for viet style & medium spice. We also tried the cucumber salad which I wasn't a fan of. Everyone seems to make it differently and this style just wasn't for me. Next time our waiter came by was to bring us the check. It seems they need to expand the waitstaff because service was exceptionally slow and the nearby tables voiced the same opinion. I enjoyed the crawfish so much that I didn't mind though. The dining area is small but cutely decorated. They have the option to make reservations which didn't seem necessary at first but the restaurant quickly filled up so I'd recommend planning ahead just to be safe.
