Less sweet = less Boba, the worker I ordered to seemed to be in a bad mood. Drinks were aight
It tastes too bad. Take it away from me.
The drinks is great, boba is from another world. However a bit pricey!
We ordered for a big group of people and the cashier looked totally pissed 🤷🏻♀️ they even made our orders wrong (got a few in large which showed on the receipt but they only made 1 large) we already got home when we figured that out so… 🤷🏻♀️ quality was not as expected either. I’m not the one who would leave reviews but this time I had to, cause the experience was so bad.
Boba’s always made fresh here! Service was quick with the order. Decorum was nice and trendy with wish sticks to give you your fortune (part of decorations). I got their X-Large standard brown sugar special (including tax is $9.49). Very flavorful and tasty! Would come back if I went back to Houston & was craving brown sugar boba.
Almost 10 freaking dollars for one drink, insane,,,it wasn't even good and the boba was hard😮💨
Best time of my life. #Nikke2ndAnniversary
How can I not give full marks? The best milk tea in Houston, the best brown sugar boba, I love it🥳🥳
Good tea, bad service
About 2 years ago, I brought my sister from out of town to Xing Fu Tang. She was impressed with the freshness of the boba and brown sugar process. We wish there is a low sugar version. The drinks are very sweet.
I recently brought my foodie friends over to check out the boba made fresh in front of our eyes. They also enjoyed it.

I paid almost $10 for a tiny drink without any extra add-ons...never coming back here
Best boba ever!

I would say the main gripe of this place is the price. Compared to the many milktea places nearby this is overpriced. Eight dollars for a large cup. I can get the same size 5 dollars at tea top.
Chrysanthemum tea:5/10 good tea but not worth for the price. It tastes normal and they had a 15 minute wait in making boba
One of the good things is that becausse the price is so high. It’s actually quite empty inside so it’s quiet.

I’ve visited Xing Fu Tang a couple of times, and unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to its hype. During my first visit, I tried their classic Brown Sugar Milk Tea. While the flavor was decent, it was far too sweet—even for someone like me who enjoys sweet drinks. I usually try the regular milk tea when visiting a new place, but this one was just too sugary compared to other spots.
The second time, I ordered the Passion Fruit Tea, and my friend got the Sakura Tea. Neither of us were impressed. The Passion Fruit Tea didn’t look anything like the pictures, and the taste felt off—again, overly sweet. As for the Sakura Tea, it lacked flavor intensity and didn’t deliver the unique taste we were expecting.
Service was another concern. Although the staff was trying their best, there was only one person making the drinks and another preparing fresh boba. Even with only a few customers, the process was slow, and it felt like the service wasn’t as efficient as it should be.
While I appreciate the effort from the staff, the drinks being too sweet and the slow service have left me disappointed. I hope they make some improvements soon.
