I don't know what's going on here but this place has gone downhill. Service is severely poor, the food quality has gone down. This was such a good place.

Food was gross. Will never return.

Sage sausage is great and the pancakes taste homemade . Multiple options for fruit pancakes as well. But do not order Migas. Left alot to be desired. Service was great. But facility is badly in need of an update.

“Charming Atmosphere, Hit-or-Miss Food”
Loved the old-timey vibe of the place definitely has a cool, nostalgic feel. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. Eggs and toast were solid, but some items seemed frozen. Hash browns were cold, and the chicken strips and fried steak missed the mark. Overall, it’s worth a visit for the atmosphere, but don’t expect gourmet.

Great antique store. Very sad to hear about the owners wife. May she rest in peace. I hope to see the husband again there was a different gentleman I hadnt seen before working the register.

Nothing to write home about. Food is ok. Not too pricey but definitely not tasty. Clean atmosphere. Quiet.Food is mediocre at best. Ordered omelette ingredients seem old. Nothing special.

Food was pretty good for a diner. The atmosphere was warm and chill. I'll go there again when I'm in that area.

I have been in Houston for 20 years, and have gone by this place so many times but today was the first time we stopped and ate here

It won't be our last. Very nostalgic 50s style diner with tables, booths and counter seating all in the old style malt shop colors.

I ordered a ribeye steak and eggs, and it was made just the way I like. They have a house seasoning they use on the steak, and it was so tasty I did not have to add ANYTHING to it, not even salt. Granted it was a little expensive at $39.99 but I'm worth it.

My wife enjoyed her mushroom Swiss burger and fries. I had a chocolate malt and she had a chocolate shake.

Service was top notch and the little gift shop is awesome as well. It's my understanding that the grill has been in business since the 50s and the building itself is 100 years old.

We will definitely be back!

Parking: Easy to park in front of the shop or also in back.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome with their parents and the ones in their were well behaved.
