We have been coming here for years and recently the service from the waiters to especially the cashier (older healthy lady) have just been horrible. The past few times we have experienced wrong orders, both being taken and delivered and overcharges in payment. Cashier rolls her eyes and snaps at you when you point out incorrect items and waitresses either ignore you or deliver the wrong food…then you wait ages for the correct items.. Sticking with Simo’s diner on N. Shepherd, 1,000% better service and food.

10 mins to be waited on. After 30 mins of waiting for our order we walked out. There were few people in the restaurant and 3 people that came in after us got their food first.

For a quick meal and short notice, breakfast was not bad for the price. Had the French toast and scrambled eggs w/bacon.

Our favorite diner and it gives a true diner experience. The wait staff are very quick and very nice. Your food is served hot and it is delicious. Portions are good. They always have a special. Coffee is great and the pies or cakes are perfect. Highly recommend if you are looking for a real diner. Come early.

Tables are always dirty and service sucks . I have waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged . My grandson likes it because his other grandma takes him there . Maybe because she is white but I have trouble getting service. Step into a 1950's cafe. Antiques and dust everywhere

Plan on going to Yale Street Grill on 2\10\24, so I'll have a better idea of the business. I was told the business is great on ambience & decor, was at one time a pharmacy I was told.

I went in there just have coffee. Coffee was less than five dollars. I didn't have any cash on me. So I tried to pay the credit card. They would not take my payment because it was less than five dollars. Therefore I was forced or really not giving a choice other than to buy something else to make five dollars for the charge.

Took forever for server to get our order. Hashbrowns were cold and no flavor , ordered over hard eggs and they still had some uncooked yoke, pancakes were ok . First and last time there .

Yale Street grill is a throwback to the salad days of soda fountains and pharmacies. Although the pharmacy is gone the feel and atmosphere is constant. Join the breakfast, lunch and diner crowd for this rare and wonderful experience.
