From the moment we stepped into Yori Yori Seafood, we knew we were in for something special. Tucked away like a secret known only to locals and seafood connoisseurs, this restaurant exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the most satisfying meals we've had in years.
**Ambiance & First Impressions**
The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual comfort and refined taste. Soft lighting, clean modern decor with subtle nautical elements, and the gentle hum of happy diners set the scene. The staff greeted us warmly and promptly seated us, offering chilled water and menus with a genuine smile.
**Service**
The service was impeccable throughout the evening. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. They checked in at the right intervals, never intrusive, always attentive—anticipating needs before we could voice them.
**The Food – An Ode to Freshness & Flavor**
Let’s get to the star of the night: the food.
* **Appetizers:** We started with the **seafood pancake** and **spicy garlic edamame**. The pancake was perfectly crisp on the outside, yet soft and generously filled with shrimp, squid, and scallions inside—each bite bursting with ocean flavor. The edamame was addictive—coated in a rich garlic oil with just enough heat to tease the palate.
* **Main Courses:**
The **grilled mackerel** was a standout—expertly charred skin that gave way to moist, flaky meat inside. It was served with a tangy citrus dipping sauce that elevated every bite.
The **seafood hot pot** was a masterpiece. Brimming with fresh mussels, clams, crab legs, shrimp, and squid, it was a visual and sensory delight. The broth had remarkable depth—slightly spicy, with layers of umami from slow-cooked seafood and aromatics. Every scoop was soul-warming.
We also tried the **crispy soft-shell crab**, which was light, airy, and absolutely addictive. Paired with a zesty aioli, it didn’t last long on the table.
* **Sides & Accompaniments:**
The steamed rice was fluffy and aromatic, while the complimentary side dishes (banchan) were all freshly made, offering a well-rounded contrast of flavors: sweet pickled radish, spicy kimchi, crunchy cucumbers, and more.
**Drinks & Dessert**
We paired our meal with a light Korean plum wine that complemented the spice and seafood wonderfully. For dessert, we ended with a surprising treat—**black sesame ice cream**—nutty, creamy, and a perfect way to cool down after such a flavorful feast.
**Final Thoughts**
Yori Yori Seafood is a culinary treasure for anyone who appreciates top-tier seafood and thoughtful preparation. Every dish was prepared with care, beautifully plated, and seasoned with a sure hand. It’s the kind of place that reminds you what great dining is all about: flavor, hospitality, and a memorable experience.
Whether you're a seafood lover or someone just looking for a fantastic meal, you owe it to yourself to visit Yori Yori Seafood. We’ll be back soon—and often.

Monica greeted us with a SMILE! She clearly LOVES her job! She took our order & even helped to bring our food out to our table as my hands was full with one tray. As we was leaving I got up to put away our trays and again, Monica was gracious to assist in putting the trays in its place. This eatery is blessed to have Monica as an employee. Great young lady with a bright future.
Hispanic young girl is rude this is a korean resturant go back to mexico
The service was great but the food was really not good. I ordered 낙지 볶음 and there was literally no 낙지. Overall the sauce was okay but I would not recommend this place. I felt like I wasted $20 when I can get much better place at other restaurants.
Kyong was helpful in food selection and my dish was prepared quickly with plenty of flavor
I ordered C1 with is the grilled mackerel and I got grilled sheephead. Please don't go here, mamasan is very rude and keep saying it's lorean style. I'm asian. I know what is a difference of mackerel and sheepshead. I don't recommend it at all. I got my fish grilled perfectly right next door to them at jummafood.
One of my favorite places in the H-mart food court. Everything is freshly made and hot. Quality food for a great price.
Their stir-fried seafood or udon with seafood are so good. They always give you little cold sides to go with it, usually some kimchi, fish cake or some type of diced potato side.
Love love LOVE this place. Friendly staff as well and well worth trying all their dishes even if you've never heard of it before. I'll update my review with pictures the next time I stop by.
Honestly can’t get enough of this place, every time has been amazing. The food is ready in a timely manner and service is flawless and they’re always polite and patient. I definitely recommend the chicken bulgogi, bibimbap ( hot or cold ) and the Jajangmyeon!
The side dishes are delicious as well, my dad loves their potato side dish and always orders extra!
It can get crowded or loud since it’s inside 99 ranch market.
Ordered a #26 (stir-fry clear noodles with vegetables and meat) and a #28 (stir-fry noodles with seafood). First, they were so skimpy on the vegetables and meat. Second, the clear noodles congealed into something that looked like a block of jello during the ride home (maybe 30 minutes.) Third, the octopus was so rubbery we didn’t eat most of it. Will give it a second chance because our friend loves it, but I think that their advice is “stick to the bulgogi”.
Korean fast food, personally I did not like the food, the service is fast, the dishes are economical but personally the food was not very good.

I got the kimchi stew. It was good but I wasn’t a fan of how the pork was cooked or tasted in it. I also didn’t care for the clear noodles. It’s a preference but overall the dish was good. I prefer a basic kimchi stew. Would still recommend if you’re a fan of very fermented kimchi. I prefer mine a little less sour.

I'm a creature of habit, I always get the lunch special with the Korean BBQ when I visit & dine in. The food is fantastic and it doesn't take long for the food to come out no matter how busy they get.

Yori Yori is a a delicious stop for some fresh Korean food. All of the flavors that you are looking for are there. I went conservative with a dumpling Ramen but I plan to try the more classic dishes like bulgogi next time. I have no complaints but I do with the broth had a bigger flavor. Overall it was great though. The dumplings were tasty and not falling apart. The tofu they serve with the kimchi was great too!
