I loved this place the first time I had it because I think they made a mistake and accidentally put a normal amount of chicken in the sandwich. Since then, I've ordered several times and there's an insane amount of chicken in both the sandwiches or any loaded fries you get from them. Last time, the piece of chicken in my sandwich was three times the size of the bread. I appreciate that they're trying to be generous with the meat but it really completely throws off the ratio of everything in the sandwich. Not to mention the amount of sauces and oils that much chicken requires completely soaks through the whole bread and it's soggy immediately after you pick it up. I ordered their curry fries and it was the same story. I had a hard time finding any fries because it was 80% chicken.

Orders loaded curry fries , sad to say but they were not good at all . Curry was tasteless and chicken tasted as if it was boiled and not fried.Fries quality were too less so all you taste is the curry mixed with soft chicken .It can be improved however location is pretty goodThanks

Was visiting Houston this week, I ended up ordering Yummy’s on Uber eats to my hotel. Aside from the chicken being DELICIOUS (yummy sauce was my favorite)! I was happy that all the food was still hot & fresh and all the side sauces were there! A few months ago I ordered from another chicken spot in Houston and was bummed to see none of the condiments I requested were in the bag leaving me to eat chicken & fries by itself. That was not the case with Yummys :)
Best hot chicken in town. The seasoning is well balanced with a more nuanced flavor than the average hot chicken place. Their best item is loaded Mac and cheese fries with some curry sauce on top (only served on weekends). I prefer that or their hot chicken tenders over the sandwich which is decent but not as great.I have noticed that portion sizes have gotten smaller with all the inflation going on. I appreciate though that they haven’t hiked the prices like most other places have.

We venture on a taco truck for a quick bite and we were very surprised of the GREAT food quality. They use Halal chicken and the portions are very well served. ?? unfortunately there is not a dine in option.

Nice staff from a group of Guatemalans. The chicken was incredibly tender. I'm still trying to figure out how they do it. It's not dry. Super juicy and flavorful. Favorite spicy chicken spot by far.IG : love

This is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I can’t stop coming
I never post reviews but I had to give some love to Yummy’s. I was in Houston visiting from Brooklyn and grabbed this sandwich on a whim. The best sandwich I’ve had in recent memory. Light crispy breading, moist chicken and the curry seasoning is just the perfect combo with the chicken and toppings. Can’t recommend enough.

I don’t know if ya’ll were just having an off night, but the clucking basket and fries did NOT leave me jonesing for more! It seemed the yummy sauce was a little thin and missing some essential spice, ditto for the spice mix on the chicken— something missing of your secret ingredients!! I think none of those secret ingredients were on the fries either…what happened?!?! I also have to agree with another reviewer who commented on the breading mix not sticking to the chicken.Guys, I LOVE you, please fix this!!!
