Great Thai food. Papaya salad, Laab, chicken wings, moo ping (grilled pork) with sticky rice, e-sarn sausage. I also loved yum seafood but notice that the portion's become smaller.

Zaab Der is hands down the best Thai restaurant in town! I haven’t tried a single dish I didn’t love - the flavors are consistently spot on. I find myself craving Zaab Der every week!

I ordered no bell peppers. Nobody will answer the phone. I can’t eat any type of red green or bell peppers and they still sent it with me to go.

We tried this Thai restaurant for the first time and were amazed from the moment we walked in. The décor is stunning — warm lighting from woven pendant lamps, cozy seating, and a modern yet inviting vibe that instantly makes you feel comfortable. Service was top-notch: our server checked on us often without being intrusive, and the owner personally came out to make sure we were having the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious! The crab fried rice is a must-try — loaded with huge chunks of sweet crab meat, perfectly seasoned, and served in a generous portion that could easily be shared (though you might not want to!). Every bite was fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was beautiful. Every detail — from the atmosphere to the service to the food — was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at Zaabder’s compels me to share. I brought clients for a lunch meeting, and the food was nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish we sampled was bursting with flavor, showcasing the kitchen’s remarkable skill and attention to detail. We started with a variety of appetizers, each one a delightful introduction to Zaabder’s diverse menu. For my main course, I chose the steak curry, which was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and impeccably balanced. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Zaabder’s is a must-visit. It’s easily some of the finest cuisine I’ve enjoyed in years.

I saw the reviews for Houston Restaurant Weeks and had to try it. I got the curry puff and tiger cry (ribeye steak) — everything was so good! Big thanks to the chefs, you all did an amazing job!

Absolutely worth it! One of the best Restaurant Week deals I've had.
I ordered the soft shell crab for the appetizer, the lamb massaman curry for my main course, and finished with a lemon cake for dessert—and everything was delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portions were generous. Getting all of this for just $39 during Restaurant Week is an incredible deal.
